Let Not Ours Be The Generation That Failed America and the World (Vanity)

Western civilization, freedom and democracy are under attack around the world. The battle is taking place along all its borders and from within the countries who still remain within the fold. I have no concerns about our democratic and free military forces’ ability to defend us against our visible enemies. I am very concerned however by the mounting, almost unnoticed attacks from within, particularly here in my home, the United States.

As the feminist author Tammy Bruce would say, I was raised to believe in prudence, temperance, justice, courage, faith, hope, charity, democracy and the American way of life. I was also taught to tell the truth and call a spade a spade. Unfortunately, in an age when our celebration of multi-ethnicity has been confused by multi-culturalism, moral relativity and political correctness, it seems our main stream media is no longer capable of seeing the truth and plain people have been intimidated into silence. I will remain silent no longer.

The attack on our civilization, culture, political ideology, and freedoms began almost 1400 years ago with the birth of Islam. More than a religion, as its scholars and ideologues will eagerly admit, Islam is a socio-political ideology with traits, tenets and characteristics very similar to fascism and communism. As someone famous once said, “Communism is a great religion masquerading as a political system.” We must now recognize that Islam, or Islamism, is a totalitarian, socio-political system masquerading as a religion. There is a good reason you haven’t heard President Bush refer to Islam as a peaceful religion since December of 2002. He apparently now knows the facts.

Islam’s first great surge against western civilization’s western flank was checked in France by Charles Martel at the battle of Poitiers in 732. Its continuing attacks against the eastern flank were finally checked at the gates of Vienna in 1529 after which the Islamic empire went into a period of general decline until 1928.

The year 1928 is significant because it marks the beginning of neo-Islamic imperialism with the founding of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt by Hasan al-Banna. Both al-Banna and the Brotherhood’s principle ideologist, Sayyid Qutb, spread an ideology of Arabic racial supremacy and global Islamic dominance and totalitarianism closely patterned on Adolph Hitler’s National Socialism (Nazism) whom both admired.

Along with its ideological arm the Brotherhood also established a military wing known internally as the ‘Special Section’ and externally as the ‘Secret Apparatus.’ The purpose of the ‘Secret Apparatus’ was to defend Islam, i.e., wage jihad or holy war against the British colonial authorities, what was viewed by the Brotherhood as the illegitimate government of Egypt, and eventually the world. To that end, a member of the Brotherhood assassinated Egyptian Prime Minister Nuqrashi Pasha in December 1948. The Brotherhood also attempted the assassination of Egypt’s President Gamal Abdel Nasser in October 1954 and spawned the assassination of Egyptian President Anwar Al Sadat in October 1981 through its radical spin-off, The Egyptian Islamic Jihad. The Egyptian Islamic Jihad merged with al-Qaeda in February 1998. Al-Banna was assassinated in February 1949, presumably by the Egyptian government, in retaliation for the murder of Prime Minister Nuqrashi. Sayyid Qutb was executed by the Egyptian government for subversion, terrorism and sedition in August 1966.

Today the Muslim Brotherhood has operations in over 70 countries. Over the course of its history it has attempted to improve it public image and disguise its true agenda by disassociating itself from its past through various measures. They are enabled by well known apologists such as Professor John Esposito of Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, the school that trains many of our diplomats in the State Department. However, those who track the Brotherhood are not fooled. In addition to Egyptian Islamic Jihad, the Muslim Brotherhood is associated with at least seven other known terrorists groups as I indicated in a previous letter to you. It also appears the Brotherhood is resurrecting its previously ‘disbanded’ military wing.

The Muslim Brotherhood made its first known presence in the United States with the founding of the Saudi funded Muslim Students Association (MSA) in January 1963. While the MSA claims its aims and purposes are to “serve the best interest of Islam and Muslims in the United States and Canada so as to enable them to practice Islam as a complete way of life,” its actions speak otherwise. Consider the following.

• At a meeting in Queensborough Community College in New York in March 2003, a guest speaker named Faheed declared, "We reject the U.N., reject America, reject all law and order. Don't lobby Congress or protest because we don't recognize Congress. The only relationship you should have with America is to topple it … Eventually there will be a Muslim in the White House dictating the laws of Shariah."

• During an October 2000 anti-Israeli protest, former MSA president Ahmed Shama at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) stood before the Israeli consulate in Los Angeles, shouting "Victory to Islam! Death to the Jews!" MSA West president Sohail Shakr declared at the same rally, "the biggest impediment to peace [in the Middle East] has been the existence of the Zionist entity in the middle of the Muslim world."

• Prior to September 11, 2001, the MSA formally assisted three Islamic charities in fundraising: the Holy Land Foundation, Global Relief, and Benevolence Foundation. After that date, all three were accused by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of having serious links to terrorism and were ordered closed. The MSA issued a formal statement of protest: "How three of the nation's largest Muslim charities could be made inoperable at the peak of the giving season of Ramadan seemed unbelievable."

“This is only the tip of the iceberg. There is overwhelming evidence that the MSA, far from being a benign student society, is an overtly political organization seeking to create a single Muslim voice on U.S. campuses—a voice espousing Wahhabism, anti-Americanism, and anti-Semitism, agitating aggressively against U.S. Middle East policy, and expressing solidarity with militant Islamist ideologies, sometimes with criminal results.”

Today, over 150 MSA chapters exist on American college campuses (divided into five regional chapters), easily establishing this organization as the most extensive Muslim student organization in North America. A Washington, D.C.-based national office assists in the establishment of constituent chapters and oversees fundraising and conferences while steering a plethora of special committees and "Political Action Task Forces."

Other high profile fronts for the Muslim Brotherhood, affiliates or organizations actively working to isolate and radicalize American Muslims in the United States in what I call a ‘social hijira’ include the American Muslim Council (AMC), the American Muslim Foundation (AMF), the American Muslim Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs Council (AMAFVAC); the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA); the Muslim American Society (MAS); and the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). The list could go on and on and it must be assumed that many, if not all of the above, and many more radical, Islamist organizations within the United States are benefiting from Saudi Arabian money.

That brings this letter to another key date in the evolution of neo-Islamic imperialism, 1932, the date the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was established in the wake of the Ottoman Empire’s collapse. With Saudi Arabia’s birth the first, radical Islamic state emerged though no one seemed to understand or care at the time with the exception of Winston Churchill. As early as 1921, Churchill envisioned the world we are facing today. Speaking before the House of Commons, 14 June 1921, Churchill offered these observations on the future Saudi state.

‘The Wahabis (sic) profess a life of exceeding austerity, and what they practice themselves they rigorously enforce on others. They hold it as an article of duty, as well as of faith, to kill all who do not share their opinions and to make slaves of their wives and children. Women have been put to death in Wahabi villages for simply appearing in the streets. It is a penal offence to wear a silk garment. Men have been killed for smoking a cigarette, and for the crime of alcohol, the most energetic supporter of the temperance cause in this country falls far behind them. Austere, intolerant, well-armed, and bloodthirsty, in their own regions the Wahabis are a distinct factor which must be taken into account…The Emir Bin Saud has shown himself capable of leading and, within considerable limits, of controlling these formidable sectaries.’

Unfortunately, the Wahhabi genie escaped the Bin Saud bottle. What was true of Saudi Arabia in 1921 is now spreading throughout the world, attacking everything that defines our civilization and threatening the futures of our children and our Nation. And, that attack is being financed by Saudi Arabia. According to congressional testimony Saudi Arabia has spent over $70 billion in the last 20 years spreading its doctrine of extreme, radical Islam throughout the world. It is estimated they have spent significantly more than the Soviet Union spent on propaganda during the entire Cold War. Hundreds of millions have been spent in the United States alone, with much of that money going to organizations like those identified above. And what has it bought? Lebanon, 1975. Iran, 1979. Afghanistan, 1996. New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC on 11 September 2001. Iraq, today. Pakistan, Egypt, Indonesia, Malaysia and others tomorrow. Regardless of what some may think of our Cold War domino theory, the Islamist dominoes are falling today.

I don’t know what needs to be done but I have given it some thought. Attached is a list of 25 suggestions. I don’t know if they are good, bad or even constitutionally legal. I’m sure some aren’t under peacetime law. But, please give them consideration.

Remember, al-Qaeda has attempted to make good on every threat it has made. Osama bin Laden has vowed to kill 4,000,000 Americans and Virginians may be the most vulnerable. He can only do that with help from within. Failing to confront that threat is like allowing the forces of fascism and communism that we defeated in the last century openly recruit within our borders to defeat us in this. It is suicidal madness.

Gentlemen, our civilization, our freedom and our democracy are under attack and our greatest threat is from within. Our public is not aware of the challenge and risk we face. They are not aware of the tactics used by our enemy. We have not educated them and that lack of knowledge is our greatest weakness. We will lose our poorly named ‘War on Terror’ if we don’t open the home front. I urgently ask you to do so. Let not ours become the generation that failed America and the world.

The MSM filters of course handle Race, sex, religion or creed. Creed is a big word in all that. The creed of terrorism and criminality also gets filtered out.

I believe it was on 11 September 1683 that the armies of Islam were turned back at the gates of Vienna.

I believe you are correct in one sense. However, it was the second time the Ottoman Empire had attacked and been repulsed. The first was the date I stated. Since no further penetration of the west resulted I took the first date as the mark of their defeat.

Very informative and alarming letter. However, when sending it to various officials, there are several hurdles to overcome .

1. How do you get it past an initial mail screener/aide to someone who will read it for content?

2.How do you get it read with an open mind rather than simply dismissed by the "Islam is a religion of Peace" and multicultural mindset?

3.How do you motivate the Representative's staff to actually give it to him/her?

4.And perhaps most importantly, how do you instill motivation in all of these people to start to do something about this threat when the great majority of them are educated to do just the opposite and are rewarded short term by continuing the government's present blind course?

I don't begin to have the answers to these questions, but they go to so much of what is happening. It is like the debate and course of the US in the illegal immigration and open borders issue. We have myriad laws that are not being enforced because the will is not there. It is like trying to use a piece of spaghetti as a nail.
