“Really? We’re in the middle of hot economy and you are saying that “economic factors” have people in uproar?”

It’s fine if you want to live in a bubble and just ignore everything that doesn’t fit your viewpoint but the cold, hard reality is that it doesn’t win elections.

There are problems and they have to be addressed. Just telling everyone things are glorious is dumb strategy and insulting to boot.

No - they would be considered “The Base”, and would be
immune from sharing. “The Base” is considered the elite,
and since they know what is best for the rest of us they
get priviledges.

Whether you’re Republican or Democrat or something else, this should be the scariest thing anyone could ever read about Hillary Clinton becoming (gulp) President of the United States.

This is pure evil — pure treason against the Constitutional foundation of this country — that millions have died for — and that Hillary will throw out the window the minute she actually has any real power..

Aside from the plethera of issues with her loving husband, her past voting record, or her (lack of) morality, these statements from her this week should scare EVERYONE into voting for anyone but Hillary.

Of course, I support Fred Thompson and Duncan Hunter.

Red China shouldn’t be running this country. I hope people hear her. I hope it sinks in.

"I prefer a 'we're all in it together' society," she said. "I believe our government can once again work for all Americans. It can promote the great American tradition of opportunity for all and special privileges for none." That means pairing growth with fairness, she said

This should make the hair stand up on the back of the neck.

The problem is that this argument has a lot of ears. Half the population has an IQ lower than 100. Add to that the new peasant class we are about to create with amnesty and you have another Chavista who can take over. Communism, the gift that keeps on giving.

The Democratic senator said what the Bush administration touts as an "ownership society" really is an "on your own" society that has widened the gap between rich and poor.

Hey, Hillary, stoooopid. The "poor" have all become richer than they were during your Bubba's administration. Besides, the American "poor" are richer, healthier, and longer-lived than nearly everybody throughout human history. Gaps mean nothing, unless we're talking about that big one between your ears.

One of the biggest, most reliable frauds that is constantly perpetrated these days is the way political candidates manage to convince people who enjoy the highest standard of living in the history of mankind that they are actually living in severe financial distress.

Just last summer I had a co-worker complain that "something must be done" about high fuel prices . . . because he paid over $1,000 in fuel for his boat over the 4th of July weekend.

It would be funny if it weren't so damned pathetic. Though maybe it's funny anyway.

There is a lot of anger outside FR and the Beltway over economic factors right now, and to ignore it and just sling names at the opposition is a big loser.

What economic factors?

Our economy is the ENVY OF THE WORLD. Our interest rates are near the lowest levels of the last 30 years.

Our unemployment rate is lower than the average during the Clinton years--even lower than most economists ever said was possible without inflation (most economists used to call 5% the lowest possible unemployment rate without inflation).

Even gas prices--adjusted for inflation are about the same as they were 25 years ago.

The stock market (meaning everyone's IRA's and 401k's too) are at all time record highs.

Home ownership is at the highest level EVER.

Yep, good reason to be angry about our economy (rolling eyes). /s

More anger than over illegal immigration? Think there is ANY connection between the questionable statistic and relentless liberal media propaganda around the 'widening gap' and the 20 million illegals in the USA? For every native family that has moved up we've let 4 Mexican families in at the bottom.

By failing to note this fact the great myth of the 'disapearing middle class' has been created and hawked endlessly. A variation of the 'homeless crisis' that appears with every Republican administration, and miraculously disapears with the innaguration of a Democratic one.

Which isn't to say you're not right, you probably are. It's likely to be a winning strategy. Just like the "culture of corruption" was. Just about as real, too.

Regardless of what people feel, or have been innudated with propaganda to believe, there is absolute proof that going further down the Socialist spiral, while perhaps emotionally appealing (now we are socking it to those fat-cat CEOS!) always results in reduced prosperity

Even when they’re not trying they’re biased.

How much of the $43 million he's earned since "retiring" is the First Rapist sharing?
I hope it's more than the 0.2% that he contributed to charity while we had access to his tax returns.

Just saying.

“It’s fine if you want to live in a bubble and just ignore everything that doesn’t fit your viewpoint but the cold, hard reality is that it doesn’t win elections.”

The cold hard reality is that the economy is booming. I don’t know what bubble you are living in, but this is complete tripe and fart gas. I read this poppycock in union thug newspapers.

Its a lie.

“There are problems and they have to be addressed.”

What problems? Please tell me! The Dow average is at its highest point in history and going higher, GDP and GNP are through the roof.

What in the name of hell are you talking about?

“Just telling everyone things are glorious is dumb strategy and insulting to boot.”

What’s insulting is buffoons like you who look at the economic numbers and then try to tell the rest of us that it sucks!!

Go back to your union hall and let them tell you how bad things are.

Slick Willie’s economic numbers where only a fraction of what they are now, and you would have thought it was Utopia according to leftist thugs and MSM. Just because you hate W and don’t want to give him and his tax cut credit for a roaring economy, that’s your problem, live with it.

Show me the numbers, show me the facts that the economy is in the tank and people are mad. Show me.

You can’t because the pig sh!t propaganda you are spewing is just that, a lie.

BTW, what’s the unemployement percentage?

Bet it beats Clintoon’s by a mile.

"on your own" society with one based on shared responsibility and prosperity.

Yesterday I heard a report that madam Hillary and Slick chair a charity that has taken in $5 million, distributing $1.5 million.

They aren't 'sharing'.

Oh, and they failed to list the 'charity' on their 1040 forms.
"Just an oversight".

What a pair.
