The mother accused of launching a brutal beat-down of a 16-year-old at the Natick Mall last week has a record that includes 26 prior guilty pleas for various crimes, prosecutors said yesterday.
This time, Marilyn Camacho, 40, of Framingham faces charges of launching a hair-pulling and kicking attack on a teen at the mall along with her own 12-, 13- and 16-year-old daughters.
Natick District Court Judge Andrew DAngelo ordered Camacho held on $1,000 bail yesterday. She is already being held on $5,000 bail out of the Framingham Juvenile Court, where she is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

26 prior guilty pleas (i.e. convictions)? $1000 bail? Obviously the judge doesn’t see any reason to spare her next victim.
To: MassRepublicanFlyersFan
All 3, I’d say. She apparently has a really lovely personality, too.

Camachos sister, Sari Figueroa of Framingham, said security video from mall that captured the attack will vindicate her sibling. She said the alleged victim started the incident by throwing a drink in the face of one of Camachos daughters. Sure. If you throw a drink at somebody the law says you can beat the crap out of them.

The mother accused of launching a brutal beat-down of a 16-year-old... Since when did the phrase "beat-down" become standard English?
To: <1/1,000,000th%
Sure. If you throw a drink at somebody the law says you can beat the crap out of them. i would be pretty mad if somebody threw a drink at the face of my child... would i beat the crap out of them? i don't knonw... maybe the 16-year old looked older... i'm not trying to give this person excuses... just trying to think about what i would do...

I’m not sure you’d beat the person for 15 minutes after they collapsed to the floor.
I suspect that we don’t know the truth about what happened.
To: Zack Nguyen
the same time it became exceptable to add a preposition to just about any verb... for example: order out... free up... head up... give away... fight against... etc...
To: latina4dubya
of course, i meant ACCEPTABLE! ugh!
