Frame by frame of the Zapruder film. Note the change in Connally's jacket lapel between frames 223-225, which some think may be the moment the bullet struck him. Note also the angle of Kennedy's head in frame 312 and the forward plume caused by the bullet in 313. No ordinary bullet fired from the front could have caused that, though an explosive bullet might have. But that still leaves the undeniable entry wound on the back of the head near the cow lick.

I couldn't find the frame by frame that compares the two for the forward impact on the third shot. Here's the gif on Connelly's lapel.

You make a very cogent and compelling case.

I had read one of his other books and really liked it: ‘And the Sea Will Tell”.

Only thing I ever read by Bugliosi was Helter Skelter and that proved - beyond a shadow of a doubt - that Bugliosi sure could write. Not so sure I want to undertake this tome, since I already agree with his conclusions.

I don’t know about the theories and all of that. What I do know is that with my own eyes I’ve seen the Zapruder film at least a 1,000 times in the last 35 years and every time I watch it, JFK’s head violently snaps backwards and to the left from the fatal shot.

Since Oswald was above him and behind him to the right, would not a fatal head shot from Oswald have snapped JFK’s head forward in a down angle and to the left?

I mean, I’m no physicist and I’m no doctor, but I have some common sense and I’ve yet to hear a credible explanation as to how a shot from behind and above can cause the head to violently snap backwards and upwards. I doesn’t make sense.

Dont you find it a bit strange that Oswald was assassinated by a Mafia bit player , that RFK was assassinated, that Monroe committed suicide , that Hoffa was killed, that Jackie married a geeky albeit powerful greek who could protect her?

Comspiracy theories explain everything, even when it's not neceaary, Sometines a cigar is just a cigar.

Tell me exactly who shot Kennedy, where they were standing and how that scenario matches the trajectories.

Is that important?

I have a certain affection for David Scheim's book Contract on America: The Mafia Murder of John F.Kennedy which goes into intricate detial about who might have wanted to kill JFK, what their friends and accquainatnces thought, while ommitting all mention of what actually happened in Dealy Plaza on the day.

Hot stove reaction. Kennedy was still alive at that point. Not only does Kennedy react but so does Mrs. Kennedy. Connelly actually hits the back of the front seat.

Look at the forward movement from the bullet impact on post 45. That is the initial movement. The solid proof of this is Equal and Opposite Force. Bullets don't push objects with the amount of force exhibited in the back and to the left. A bullet would push someone's head the 2.3 inches in the gif.

Further proof is the autopsy report. The bullet wound at the back of the head was the size of the bullet. The exit wound was much larger. Small hole in, large hole out. The rear bullet wound also was cratered. It's as though a bb hits a glass window with the larger size on the inside.

There's also the two bullet fragments. They came from the Carcano and one hit the inside of the windshield near the rearview mirror and the other hit the inside window trim. One was found on the front seat and the other on the front floorboard.

Of course it’s important. If motive is your only proof, Dealy Plaza would have sounded like D-Day.

In order to prove who killed someone, you have to know who pulled the trigger. A fact no conspiracy theorist can explain.

Well yes. As Dorothy Sayers once had her fictional detective Lord Peter Wimsey explain, ciui bono leads to too many false trails. Work out how the murder was committed and that will tell you who was in a position to do it.

Quite true. - In the case at hand, the Warren Commission failed in its Report to 'work out' how the murder was committed. -- And so has every other effort to date.

The case is not closed.

How it was done is explained on post 37. The gifs follow it on other posts.

I’ll try to include the gifs the next time I post the explanation. I’m also looking for the autopsy sketch that shows the bullet hole in the back of the head. It also shows the massive exit wound in the front.

Thank you. I learn something every day.

Small hole in, large hole out. It's a given that as a bullet travels, it carries debris which adds to the destruction. This sketch does fail to include the path of the two large fragments which caused the damage to the inside of the windshield and the windshield trim.

You need to stop reading conspiracist pulp fiction.

Just try Gerald Posner's 'Case Closed'. You'll thank me for it. It's a book that you won't be able to put down and when you're done you'll tell other people that they need to read it whenever the subject of the murder of JFK pops up.

In fact, if you have all of the major conspiracy authors' books (Lifton's 'Best Evidence', Lane's 'Rush To Judgement' and 'Plausible Denial', etc.) in your library, keep them handy for reference while you're reading 'Case Closed'. Posner buries these works so effectively you'll want to find the conspiracist authors and punch them right in their pinko guts and force them to give you your money and wasted hours back.

What we need to start asking around here is 'Good For Whom?' and 'Who Benefits?' about the avalanche of manure regarding the JFK assassination gifted to us by left wing conspiracy authors and their conspiracy groupies who have labored for decades to keep the confusion engine chugging along.

Last thing that the commie-libs of the post-McCarthyist 1960s needed was a national concensus that one of their left wing wacko communist sympathizers with an ACLU card in his wallet murdered our American president.

If Lee Harvey Oswald was a man of the age we're in now, he'd be one of the kookiest violence screed posters on DU.com. Why the hell do some Freepers rush to defend an anti-American asshole like that? Someone tell me.

Remember this: ACLU member Lee Harvey Oswald shot NRA member JFK.

The Warren Commission was guilty of that. They didn’t want to come right and say a commie killed the President at the height of the Cold War. They had this vague conclusion that left gaps you could drive a truck through.

My favorite group are the Marines who refuse to believe one of their own killed Kennedy. But then they have to say he was such a lousy shot. Marines are lousy shots at pistol range? With a scoped rifle? In a rest?

They won’t even discuss Charles Whitman. Sheesh.

I very much appreciate all of your effort in this matter. One more question, does the velocity of the bullet striking the skull disperse sufficient energy to cause the head and torso of an adult male to redirect motion and thrust backward as rapidly as it appears to in the Zapruder film?
