Iranian Flow Of Weapons Increasing, Officials Say
Washington Post ^ | Sunday, June 3, 2007; Page A14 | Robin Wright

Iran has increased arms shipments to both Iraq's Shiite extremists and Afghanistan's Taliban in recent weeks in an apparent attempt to pressure American and other Western troops operating in its two strategic neighbors, according to senior U.S. and European officials.

In Iraq, Iranian 240mm rockets, which have a range of up to 30 miles and could significantly change the battlefield, have been used recently by Shiite extremists against U.S. and British targets in Basra and Baghdad, the officials said. Three of the rockets have targeted U.S. facilities in Baghdad's Green Zone, and one came very close to hitting the U.S. Embassy in the Iraqi capital, according to the U.S. officials.

The 240mm rocket is the biggest and longest-range weapon in the hands of Shiite extremist groups, U.S. officials say. Remnants of the rockets bear the markings of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps and are dated 2007, those sources said. The Tehran government has supplied the same weapon, known as the Fajr-3, to Hezbollah, the Shiite Muslim Lebanese militia.

IRAN publically stated recently that:

“It’s now time for the world to start imagining a World without an
America in it”

CLINTON publically stated after the 9/11 Attacks that:

“There may not even be an America around in 300 years”

And thus...
...the Battle for the 21st Century has been defined and enjoined by our Enemies...
...within & without.

Anonymous sources. In the meantime everyone willing to be named says that there is no proof that the Iranian government is responsible.

And the article posted right before this one is: “Military action in Iran not in anyones interest, says Gates.”

Thanks, Gates, for telling Iran that they can do whatever they damned well want and we’ll just sit here and let them do it.

If either of two things happen, Ronnie, It won’t take 300 years, in fact, it won’t take 30 years for America to be destroyed.

Event # 1: The amnesty for illegal aliens bill to be enacted into law. Event # 2: Hillary Clinton to be elected President. At this point in time, both are probable. I know that many on this forum preach that rudy will wipe up the floor with hillary. If Rudy had believed that he would be one of the Senators from New York today instead of Hillary. But none the less, if either event takes place , if you want to see what life in the U.S. will be in a few years look at Mexico and the South American countries. The aliens will elect Deomcrats and the Democrats will raise taxes so high that the economy will dry up.

Be assured it will take much longer. Not all of us will let it just happen. If it takes a civil war or a military coup this country will not go silently into the night and everyone of else should be committed to stand up and be counted when the time comes to fight for the very existence of this nation.

Nope and Dr. Rice has publicly stated the administration’s no action position. So Iran has a free hand and could probably even get military aid from us to use against our other allies.

Your HILLARY analysis is why, exactly, I’ve been doing all I can to prevent this longtime Enemy Within from ever re-entering our Oval Office. Especially in this new time of war with our own Freedom now directly at stake right here at home.

Sacrificing along the way in doing so:

NEVER FORGET that HILLARY & BILL CLINTON’s supporting Communist North Vietnam’s push to take over a then Free South Vietnam during the Vietnam War ended up bringing us:

Sen. TED KENNEDY led a post-WATERGATE Democrat Congress into cutting off all our funding for the then Free South Vietnamese to fight for their own Freedom with, just like he’s pushing hard to do again to the still Free Iraqi people.

This when Sen. TED KENNEDY has known better from the very begining of the Vietnam War, having been shown directly in person what the Fight for Freedom there was really all about:

“Bush doesn’t do borders.”

Ha! Imagine him trying to justify securing Iraq’s borders when he refuses to secure our own. His hands are tied, he can do neither. In the meantime, our soldiers are dying and their families here at home are vulnerable to any terrorist who decides to waltz across the border. So much for “doing everything in my power to protect this country”. But hey, at least he’s “fighting them over there, so that we don’t have to fight them here.”

The United States, possibly with help from Israel and the UK, should bomb Iran’s oil pipelines, refinery, storage tanks, nuclear sites, and military installations beginning “yesterday”, and keep bombing until they have been pulverized.

Re your post 13, I wouldn't say that the U.S. economy goes to hell in a few years, but within a decade, yeah.

If this happens, I can see an uprising and it won't be by the immigrants.

Old Possum, I am not one of the young ones. My race here is about run. Like you I feel sorry for the young ones. But to me 10 years can go as fast as snapping one’s fingers. I though that I would never reach 21, then the next 50 years seem like yesterday.

So long as they don’t mess with American Idol there will never be an uprising by the American people.

The American people will never rebell over something as insignificant to them as their loss of freedom.
Hell, they voluntarily surrender these to the Government. In the guise of being made or kept more “secure”.

Ahmeddinejad or whatever the hell his name is could write “To Jorge With Love, Ahmeddinejad” on amissile and nothing would happen.

This is the difference between a man and the individualin the White House now. When Ronald Reagan won the Election for President, Ahmed and his buddies IMMEDIATELY released the American hostages.

They KNW that joke about “What is flat, black and glows in the dark” wouldn;t be so funny if Ronnie took over and those hostages were still prisoners.

They can read people pretty well. And they have read the Euroweenies and Bush thoroughly.

Upon reflection, I think (sadly) that you are right. Americans have grown too fat and lazy and as long as you keep the low-brow entertainment and the Nachos coming, I guess loss of freedom won't be noticed.

I think, sport, that we have lived through the best part of American history. We have seen and benefited from the huge increase in prosperity, massive growth in technology (think of the improvements in cars, development of computers and other electronic gear), our fathers went out to fight "the good war", and in our younger years we didn't have a Big Brother government slowly taking away our freedoms (hell, when I was young I could go down to the hardware store and buy any gun I wanted and didn't fill out single form...try that now),

I can't get out of my mind a snippet from that 60's song (or was it 70's?), "Big Yellow Taxi": "You don't know what you've lost until it's gone."

And if it was a rifle or shotgun you could walk down the street carrying it to your car. No one said anything. If the policeman drove by he would just wave hello at you and keep driving. Or that is what would happen in my town.
