John McCain Warns Illegal Immigration Enforcement Could Lead to Riots
The National Ledger ^ | Jun 3, 2007 | John W Lillpop

Just when the dust was beginning to settle following President Bush's latest assault on common sense, in which he accused conservatives of "spreading fear" by being honest about amnesty, Senator John McCain decided that fear mongering was not such a bad tactic after all. In fact, McCain decided that fear mongering was essential in trying to sell his amnesty snake oil to a skeptical and increasingly suspicious public.

On June 2, McCain rolled out his fear-based defense of amnesty on the campaign trail in Le Mars, Iowa. Responding to a question about deportation of illegal aliens, McCain delivered the following dilly: "In case you hadn't noticed, the thousands of people who have been relegated to ghettos have risen up and burned cars in France,'' McCain said. "They've got huge problems in France. They have tremendous problems. The police can't even go into certain areas in the suburbs of Paris. I don't want that in the suburbs of America.''

"beginning to fear that vigilantism is the only solution."

That may be A solution, but probably not the best. All Citizens need to be legally empowered and protected should an immediate nation-wide clean-up operation become necessary. There will be plenty of tasks to keep everyone busy. Check out this Plan A.

It is time we draw that hard line.

I’m with you!

Note to Senator McCain: When did you become an anarchist, fearful of what these lawbreakers would do? The French evidently do not have the guts to prosecute the thugs over there. We do and we should - regardless of the consequences.

Has John McCain forgotten the definition of TERRORIST? A terrorist is one who threatens violence to achieve a political goal.

By definition the people he is afraid of are terrorists... Does America now bow down to terrorists??? Not only that, but do we forgive their crimes, and then roll out the welcome mat?

This is a direct insult to all our brave soldiers who are putting their lives on the line as I write this.

SHAME ON YOU John McCain!

I can’t imagine many places outside the big urban centers where you wouldn’t see folks banding together to protect their neighborhood.

It’s funny, when I spent some time in SE Asia it was common to see the neighborhood guys doing the same thing, but with clubs not firearms. If they caught the perps they’d hold them until the police showed up. Sometimes that meant hogtying them with bailing wire from 2:00AM until 9:00AM; sometimes a ritual humiliation beating by the entire block (15 or 20 people including grandmas with little sticks); and once in a while a serious public smackdown by a few of the tougher guys. The message was “Don’t ever come back here again, and tell your friends.”

Once after about an hour of village justice, the police showed up to take charge of the perp (caught red-handed with a stolen TV). The first cop walks up to the guy, stares him down for a moment, and then coldcocks him with a very serious upper right. Then they dragged him away for a certain sentence to the work farm.

Justice is much simpler and PC-free in that part of the world.

This is the same tactic Sarkozy’s opponent used right before they were to vote in France.

There is already too much pandering to barbarians in this country, we don’t need more!

I couldn't agree more.

They are an enemy to the Republic, and I am not making a mistake about that in any way, shape, or form.

I know you aren't...

I recall the chanting at that World Cup soccer game in Mexico City with the Mexicans chanting "Osama, Osama..."

What the hell is wrong with our elected officials?

“beginning to fear that vigilantism is the only solution.”

“Vigilantism” is a term not always properly applied. Refusing to dial 911, and watch people raped and murdered, while you wait for help, does not make you a vigilante. Every damn time I hear someone say, “don’t take the law in your own hands”, as if it is an absolute, I’ve got to ask where they got that idea. It isn’t supposed to be an “American” philosophy.

"“Vigilantism” is a term not always properly applied."

Agreed.

"Refusing to dial 911, and watch people raped and murdered, while you wait for help, does not make you a vigilante."

Agree absolutely.

"Every damn time I hear someone say, “don’t take the law in your own hands”, as if it is an absolute, I’ve got to ask where they got that idea. It isn’t supposed to be an “American” philosophy."

Agreed. My philosophy is, where there is no law, you are the law. Always was, always will be.

My point was that the sheriff is the highest legitimate law enforcement person in town, is a civilian, is non-federal and is answerable to those who elect him. He needs the support and assistance of all good Citizens in times of crisis.

Like I said, Plan A. If that fails, well that's another plan.

That really shows the mindset of many Mexicans. They truly don't respect our way of life, or our sovereignty. We need a wall - now.

What the hell is wrong with our elected officials?

That's the 3 Trillion dollar question. Our rulers are clearly betraying our trust. Dark days lie ahead for our Republic.

He’s real big on threatening. He ain’t so big on following through. Here he is whining about the threat of violence by a criminal element - and he wants to be president? OK!!!

Biggest fear I ever had in my life was that we would really need a revolution, and I would be too damned old to see the sights on my rifle, that has about come to pass, I’ll just have to shoot at the noise and stink! Dead? Hell, almost been there, done that, a couple of times, ain’t no big deal, right now I’m dealing for my grandson.
He hit 15 today, my gift to him was my cherished old Kabar, an Arkansas hone, and a can of honing oil. I would have rather raised poets than warriors, but, maybe my grandson can take up poetry later, if he lives long enough.
I am going to die, the future, for me, is what I leave behind me. I can’t take anything with me, what I leave has got to be my best!

An employee (McCain) threatening his employers (taxpayers/voters) isn’t exactly the smartest move. Long past time to fire this leftist piece of excrement.

No one is going to burn my car or business and just get away with it.
