An Obama vs. Thompson election would at least be interesting.

And of course Fred would crush him :-)

Who is “public policy polling”?

A polling company recently started by Fred Thompson's immediate family. ;-)

I live in South Carolina.

Friday night I was at a cocktail party and the who party was buzzing about Fred Thompson - and I would say that 40% of us have been hard core Rudy fans.

We all agreed - if Fred and get aggressive - harness a simple message - he will be HELL to beat.

It was a great party - everyone was talking and there were supporters for all the candidates - except McCain - only one idiot old woman was for him (no offense ladies)

We got her drunk and left her in the corner.

Great GOP primary - no doubt.

How did immigration and Little Lord Lindsey figure in the conversation?

I was at a birthday party Saturday night and experienced the same thing... REAL people are ABUZZ about Fred! (and I didn't even start it)

[.. On the GOP side, Fred Thompson leads his rivals with 27%, followed by Mitt Romney at 16%, Sen. John McCain at 15%, Rudy Giuliani at 14% and Newt Gingrich at 11% ..]

That was quick.. Fred kicked the others to the curb in one day.. Gingrich as a running mate just might be a blockbuster..

Gingrich in a debate with whoever the democrats chose as VeeP would be like sending the democrat through a chipper.. And with Newts input to Freds campaign would be powerful..

Could galvanize the republican party.. should happen soon though.. They are burning daylight..

Here in Washington State, at Saturday’s King County GOP Convention, Fred Thompson got 89 votes in the straw poll taken. Mitt Romney came in 2nd place with 39 votes, followed by the rest of the pack.

Immigration - simple - BORDERS first - then who cares. If we can secure the borders - than those here can stay - that seemed to be the majority.

Lord Lindsay - at the party - his name did not come up. Most men (men) and most women (women) don’t care too much for him. That said - he is one hell of a politician - his skills are strong. He sucks

I have been driving around for weeks with a Fred Thompson bumper sticker. Over the weekend someone placed a note on my car asking me to call them to let him know where I got it.

John Edwards polls 15% in his own state. I guess it’s because he’s sued just about everyone in the state at one time or another.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that we won’t be seeing this poll on Hugh Hewitt’s website.
