Cavuto had KRS-ONE on for a segment that was basically an infomercial for KRS-ONE's new business venture: a premium rap video cable channel to compete with BET.
I don't think Cavuto should be helping this guy get rich like RCA.
KRS-One has ignited controversy with his comments as a panelist at The New Yorker Festival on October 2nd, claiming that he and other African-Americans "cheered when 9/11 happened . . . I say that proudly." As reported in the New York Daily News and confirmed by a New Yorker spokeswoman, the rapper explained his views by saying that prior to the attack World Trade Center security guards prevented black people from entering "because of the way we talk and dress. So when the planes hit the building, we were like, 'Mmmm -- justice.' [9/11] doesn't affect us. 9/11 happened to them, not us. The rich . . . those who are oppressing us. RCA or BMG, Universal, the radio stations."
How much $$$$ has he donated to Hillary so far?
Scott LaRock is turning over in his grave.
What a dope KRS-ONE has turned into.
Great business model. I can't imagine why he's the only one to have thought of plugging in to that golden all-day-rap-listener demographic. Absolutely dripping with disposable bling-bling. He'll make a killing.
Never heard of her.
What, was he named after the license plate of the car he was conceived in?
“cheered when 9/11 happened . . . I say that proudly.”
