LOL x 10^google

That’s rich.

Jesse Helms was the man. I still smile when I think of the time he went down to the UN and told them what’s what.

Madam, I know Jesse Helms

Jesse Helms is a friend of mine

Your husband is no Jesse Helms

Your husband is not even a flea on a pimple on the ass of Jesse Helms.

That virtually eliminates the gay vote. In denouncing funding for AIDS research, Jesse said, “There’s not a single case of AIDS that didn’t originate with sodomy.”

Edwards couldn’t wipe Helm’s behind! This woman is certifiable to even try to make such a comparison.

If Hollywood decides to make a movie of the Edwards’ life, it’s not going to be easy: Shelly Winters and Liberace are both dead. So much for the movie.

####”I remember one-time somebody saying, ‘That John Edwards reminds me of Jesse Helms,’” she said. “They didn’t agree on a single policy, I don’t think. But here’s what they agreed on — that people should know where they stood.”####

That’s hilarious considering that Edwards won his Senate seat by posing as a conservative. Once North Carolina voters found out where he stood on the issues (which wasn’t until after he was elected) they turned against him so badly that he didn’t even bother seeking re-election. That sure doesn’t sound like Jesse Helms to me.

>>Even Kerry realized Edwards was an idiot and a 2 bit conniving snake.<<

This is exactly what my opinion of the “slicker than Slick” Mrs. Edwards has always been, she should have never dropped her mask because she is a sympathetic character on the political stage. She reminds me of Angela Lansbury in “The Manchurian Candidate”.

"I remember one-time somebody saying, 'That John Edwards reminds me of Jesse Helms,'"

Probably an aide told her to say that...

Well didn't Edwards say he wasn't comfortable with those people...

I can believe that a voter was dumb enough to compare Edwards to the great Jesse Helms. But Mrs. Edwards’ comment is sheer lunacy. Either that or boundlessly cynical. As someone said, John Edwards is a “conniving snake.”
