Alive, he has been in poor health these last few years though!! One of the great experiences of my short life: Sen. Jesse Helms speaking at a convocation service at Liberty University while I was there!! I got to meet him, shake his hand, and thank him for his years of service to the people of the State of North Carolina (Even got my Bible Auto’d by him, though I later lost that one. I think God took it away becuase I was using it like an idol..lol).

This is exactly what my opinion of the “slicker than Slick” Mrs. Edwards has always been, she should have never dropped her mask because she is a sympathetic character on the political stage. She reminds me of Angela Lansbury in “The Manchurian Candidate”.

To be honest, based on things she has said in the past, I really do think she is a little "off" (hell she is mentally ill), I think Edwards keeps her around simply because she is sympathetic and it can help his image, but its not like he even takes care of her.
