"Do you have any idea how stupid you sound?"
Personal insults won't change facts any more than rhetoric and false associations/accusations for evoking emotional responses.

You replied:
"
That's not an issue. First, it's an arms control advisory board. But if it were dealing with mideast issues, I want to see influential Republicans with whom I agree on it. I'd prefer Thompson to Richard Armitage."
...the kind of arms control behind the following?

From the
State Dept. site:
The Secretary of State's International Security Advisory Board (formerly called the Arms Control and Nonproliferation Advisory Board (ACNAB)) provides the Department with independent insight and advice on all aspects of arms control, disarmament, international security, and related aspects of public diplomacy.
I would rather see a pro-Israel veteran who chaired the House Armed Services Committee get elected (Hunter).

I predict they’ll blow up a bunch of innocents and then blame the “Great Satan.”

I’d be glad to see Hunter get the nomination, but he’s going to have to display considerably better political and organizational skills to get there.

IMO, he'd have to change his socio-political beliefs and intentions in order to get enough money. The following might not seem to be relevant in cursory thought. But what they have done to families and cohesiveness, they're also doing to defense, IMO. It's all about liberaltarians and the subjective desires of each of them. In some ways, it's the 4th Century all over again.
The Fortune 500s in the list filed briefs in favor of "affirmative action" in the Michigan "Grutter v. Bollinger" (Michigan University) case.

Affirmative action was not about color so much as "gender" toward a larger labor pool. The legislation for a flood of foreign singles now is an intensification of the same. And IMO, our leadership should enable itself to see strategic considerations beyond market moves and family busting.
