Senator Sessions has done a good job getting this info. out to the public. I am so proud he is my Senator.
If the populace was educated on every aspect of illegal immigration, the Rasmussen poll would be closer to 100% against illegal immigration of any kind, ever.
This amnesty bill is serious business. To illustrate this seriousness, I tell you this. I am 65 years old, and have never behaved in the way I am about to describe. I savaged and shouted down a guest in my home when he started to explain to me how illegal immigrants had rights, were valuable - you know, the whole line. He kept on and on: he didn’t know when to shut up and I just gave him everything I had, which it turns out was quite a bit. My husband, who had never seen anything like this from he, sat silent and still while I savaged his friend. I probably will never do this again (thank God!) but I am really happy that the one time I did it, it was over something so very serious as this. This person’s mind was probably not changed one bit, but at least he knows the intensity of his opposition by now.
Build the Fence
Cost to build the fence on our southern border = 2/1,000 of our national budget ($1.8 trillion).
Medical care for illegal aliens in 3 border states cost the U.S. taxpayers $1.6 billion a year.
Congrats.
Your husband must be very proud of you...he should be.
“bring the 12 million undocumented americans out of the shadows.”
how dare he make such a blanket statement and declare them to be americans?
why not bring them out of the shadows and into the glare of the lights of a bus headed back to their country.
Maybe we need to do that more often. I understand your feeling bad about it; but IMHO conservatives take the high road with dignity and quite reasoning too often. The other side only understands emotion. If we got in their face more often it could help turn the tide. In calls to my Senators office (where I am a well know supporter) the lady who answers the phone said to me “I have never heard you so upset about anything, I’ll make sure and tell the Senator how upset you are.” Gave me pause to consider this issue.
“Harry Reids priority, on the other hand, is to bring the 12 million undocumented Americans out of the shadows.
The latest estimates suggest only as many as 40% of the illegals will sign up for this deal. They don’t mind being hidden within society, why should they?
Bravo!

Towards the head lights of the bus taking them out !
More the reason we should call & thank Senator Jeff Session and his (our) allies!...for defending US citizens and the rule of law!
Some names surprised, others not.
Political elites, them or us,
need an awakening periodically.
Let today be that day,
...Please God.
Way to go! Give em hell and take no prisoners.
I am so proud he is my Senator.
^^^^
I’m jealous!
These are people who’s jobs and lives are directly effected by the illegal immigration problem and the stress is starting to show. I do my best to explain to them that *hate* is not going to solve the problem but, the looks on their faces show their confusion.
There are factions in this country who will not take this amnesty deal, lying down.
A good way to use lefist tactics is to adopt their language.
“I am offended that Senator Reid would call people who sneak into our country “Americans”.”
“I am offended that the Mayor of Baltimore [for example] openly asks people with no permission to stay in the United States to take up subsidized residence in Baltimore.”
“I feel that our elected officials are saying that we have fewer rights than people who choose to sneak in and stay here.”
Libs live on an emotional level. Feelings are everything and always trump logic, which is what conservatives use to form opinions on issues.
(Didn't all of these Senators raise their right hands and swear to God to uphold the Constitution?)
U.S. Constitution, Article 4 Section 4:
"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government,
1. The act of invading; the act of encroaching upon the rights or possessions of another; encroachment; trespass.
