The next time someone asks “Ein weiteres Knockwurst, Herr President,” the answer is “Nein.”

Didn’t his dad barf all over the Japanese Prime Minister?

Seems the apple didn’t fall very far from the tree.

I hate to see a man’s enjoyment of a cold one get used against him...

At most, it's interesting in a gossipy sort of way, because quitting drinking on his 40th birthday was part of his bio in 2000 (what pundits hall his "story"). I've seen photos and video from other events where he was sipping something with a yellowish color -- clearly not water, and looked like white wine to me. Early in his presidency, he made a point of toasting with water.

I've seen no indication, even in the most hard-left rumor mill, that Bush has gotten intoxicated at any point in his presidency. Certainly, few of our presidents have been tee-totallers. So again, it's a mildly interesting bit og gossip, of no real importance or relevance.

I keep expecting this threat to take a turn for the Wurst.

Bush, indisposed without gravity in G8

Hmmm...

Yeah. If he suddenly lost gravity, that would explain the illness. Why do you think they call the NASA training plane the "vomit comet"?

Then why mention it?

It was a non-alcoholic, but that still would IMO upset ones stomach if not accustomed to it.

Let’s hope that little “not serious” illness isn’t the same one that the Russian spy got. Or the Ukranian president, for that matter.

Prayers and well wishes for the President. Putting aside my recent, well deserved "frothing at the mouth".

Jeez, I don't trust any of those freaks over there, and the man just spent time with (ras)Putin. That could be dangerous to anyone's health.

Let’s hope it’s not Dioxin. Anyone see him having soup with PuteyPoo?

One to many Heineken's?

Saw a pic of him enjoying a cold one.

It looks like “Buckler”, a non-alcoholic beverage produced by Heineken.

“llness Sidelines Bush at G-8 Summit”
By JENNIFER LOVEN 06.08.07, 3:53 AM ET

ARTICLE SNIPPET: “President Bush came down with a stomach ailment Friday at the G-8 summit in Germany and is resting in his room.

“I’m not sure if it’s a stomach virus yet or something like that,” Dan Bartlett, counselor to the president told reporters. “He’s just not feeling well in his stomach,”

Although ill, the president did meet for an hour with French President Nicolas Sarkozy, but, as a precaution, the meeting took place in Bush’s private room.

“The president felt that they established a real personal rapport,” Bartlett said, adding that they discussed s myriad of issues, including Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan, Darfur, trade and missile defense.

Dr. Richard Tubb, Bush’s doctor, is monitoring the president’s health, Bartlett said.”
