I think you are correct. It was Barbara that has Grave’s Disease which is a thyroid disease. I remember when she was diagnosed and they were talking about her symptoms one of which was bulging eyes.

If her husband and her dog were diagnosed at the same time I would think that was quite a coincidence.

My first thought when I heard the President was ill was that the last person he was with was Putin and it looks like I wasn’t the only one that had that thought briefly cross their minds LOL!

Well for those who don’t drink any longer, they do have non-alcoholic beer and wine.

At parties where the host/hostess know they have non drinkers they seem uncomfortable not offering an alcooholic beverage to all their guests so they provide these “alternate” cocktails.

In Germany, especially, their pride and joy is their beer. I’d say their PM was gracious enough to provide the non-alcholic stuff and President Bush diplomatically excepted.

God forbid the pics we get from the MSM when W visits with Sarko, the new President of France.
