BTW, If I recall, Chambliss was the ONLY congressman that was at the speech Bush gave at the Border Patrol Training Camp.
No other Georgia congressmen showed up. Am I correct?
Correct-Johnny supported the bill, but he is a political animal and wouldn’t stick his neck out for an unpopular bill.
I understand what u r trying to say. But u have to remember that by the time the American Public became aware of this Secret Deal of which Chambliss was a key part of, all the deal makers thought this immigration bill was a done deal.
Yes, once it became public Chambliss had to defend it, because he was one of the secret deal makers. I would not call that honest. If he was part of the secret deal, would u not expect him to be public about and defend it?
The point is shame on Chambliss for being apart of this group of secret deal makers in the first place.
I agree with you. I think Chambliss is affected by the chicken farm donors-also the vidalia onions. In the South of Georgia, there are even more illegals than North Georgia.
