Bush wants to IMPORT people who have propagated the systems Castro and Chavez thrive in.

While I am certainly not arguing in favor of the original poster's thesis, I disagree that Bush will be remembered as a great president. Distant, unfocused, and uninterested is how I think he'll be remembered.

It's a shame. Imagine what a real leader could have accomplished when his party controlled both houses of congress.

Opinion posted as news. Grant is still the worst, although none have been anywhere near the alltime worst of national leaders on earth.

We have JD Hayworth on the radio here now. I was listening yesterday afternoon and he recounted a conversation he had with the President while he was still in the House.

He tried to open up a dialogue about illegal immigration and how his constituents felt about the issue.

He said he got about five sentences into it and the President looked at him with a cold, dismissive stare and said, "Stop harassing me". End of discussion.

How about a barf alert before the zot kitties do a background check;)?

I guess his being right is pissing you off? I'm not ready to rank Bush under Carter .... but Bush is making a damn good charge for the bottom.

And women also put the bubba into office, who’s affairs were more extensive than Hardings who also fooled around with a Carrie Fulton Phillips who the party paid off to keep the bimbo eruption out of the news. So it goes.

The framers knew what they were doing with no woman suffrage.

I stole this from someone on FR but it pretty much sums up the worst presidency in history. You have a few legitimate complaints with President Bush but you're hallucinating if you think Bush's performance is worse than this:

It was a

J O K E.

A herculean task it must have been for him considering his time in office, but he has actually managed to be a worse ex-president than what he was during his term in the whitehouse.

Cheeres.

If Bush had signed the immigration bill that the House and Senate were attempting to pass then I would agree that his Presidency would be ultimately more of a disaster than Carter's. Thankfully, he hasn't had the opportunity to sign the bill. His term is not over yet though. I have stated previously, he either is dishonest or lacks wisdom/intelligence or both.

"Men are basically smart or dumb and lazy or ambitious. The dumb and ambitious ones are dangerous and I get rid of them. The dumb and lazy ones I give mundane duties. The smart ambitious ones I put on my staff. The smart and lazy ones I make my commanders."
