Excellent...

Then we will have an all DEMOCRAT congress. Did you happen to see how Democrats voted on this versus RINO’s?

Brilliant! Back to school for you...

How’d the 2006 election to remove RINO’s turn out for you?

You won’t but what is suggested doesn’t solve the problem
because it requires that new immigration laws be enforced.
If the old ones aren’t enforced why would one assume that news ones would be.

Well said.

For those of us old enough to remember the "resolution" that
Simpson-Mazzoli was suppossed to bring to illegal immigration in
1986...
the songs "Won't Get Fooled Again" sounds like our proper anthem.

We agree on that, but I don’t see it happening any time soon.

Now, since nobody in Washington DC likes this option, what’s your next idea?

Figure out a way to make all those "nobody in washington" folks search for new jobs...

"Since pretty much every member of congress seems convinced that simple enforcement of the existing immigration laws (that they passed) won’t work, and that rights for illegal aliens is a higher priority than the rights of legal law abiding Americans, some form of amnesty is bound to pass sooner or later."

Amnesty is with us, and has been with us for quite some time now.

Amnesty: The extending to illegal aliens rights enjoyed by Presidents, Congress, judges, the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, and business interests to neither obey, uphold, nor enforce existing law.

For decades, the American citizens have in effect granted amnesty to the elected, and their respective political parties for their failure to enforce the law.

Blame for amnesty cannot rightfully be placed on the elected or their respective political parties, but the people that granted them amnesty for their failures, the American citizens. Amnesty will continue so long as American citizens place party membership ahead of their birthright.

New Orleans thought the fed would secure their town against a hurricane. You think the fed will defend your local border. Both of you are learning what it’s like to wait for the fed to do what your local government has the authority and responsibility to do...

We have had our “one-time amnesty”.

And that worked really well.

Now they want ANOTHER one?

Doing the same thing, over and over, and expecting a different outcome, is indicative of something. Can’t be anything good, though.

Until it does, nobody is serious about securing our borders. A fence is a lie...

When we get serious about border security, we’ll send troops not fence builders.

Democrats who are fully behind pure amnesty?

Or just RINO’s who support conditional amnesty?

For those who do not follow links, what it the proposal?

Pie in the sky day dreaming, any offer to negotiate and we are dead.

But this ideal was pretty far out there, has no concept that laws must pass a court test for equal treatment. Most of it was not constitutional.

Very good but the enforcement apparatus, deportation apparatus has to be carefully spelled out and funds have to be allocated before any amnesty. This ENHANCED ENFORCEMENT arm of the Federal Government has to be up and running and deporting illegal alien criminals in great numbers before there is any amnesty. Airplanes and ships must be chartered.  Deportation laws must be streamlined so illegals and scumbag lawyers cannot jam up the deportation proceedings

SHOW ME THE MONEY!!! ENFORCEMENT FIRST!!! PROVE IT!!
