Yes. “Obscenity” and “irresponsible” are appropriate terms. Mega-dittoes, Clintonhater.
Good idea. But he probably won’t.
If the Democrats don’t SLIME Mullen, you will KNOW he’s a LIBERAL.
That's enough. I am going to finally say it: Bush is a scumbag.
Or will do what the liberals tell him to. Which is bad enough.
How do you know that?
I'm sure he would have preferred to be reappointed in an honorable way. However, the consequences of the 2006 election made that impossible.
The people that wanted to teach Bush and the republicans a lesson helped make this possible.
Looks like they are setting up “GAYS in the MILITARY” to prevail!!! I think ALL the Dem candidates raised their hand to get rid of “Don’t ASK DON’T TELL”!!!! She/They must be defeated.
Take it to the bank. If ANY Rat is elected, “don’t ask, don’t tell” is gone. And PC will run rampant throughout the military. I’d actually say that the military would be ruined within eight years, and possibly four.
One of the many reasons I have no patience with the third-party argument. Far too much is at stake.
I agree that conservatives who stayed home in the last election contributed to this situation. But I also think Pace could have been confirmed. Even if I’m wrong, the report was that he wanted to be reappointed. General Pace knows Congress perfectly well — all of the most senior brass do. They’re not little boys. And even if he were not confirmed, the fight would have sent a good signal to the military and would have helped educate more Americans about the Rats.
Amen!! gays in the Military will be JOB #1 for Hillary especially!! She willl owe the gays BIG TIME!
I really look forward to her next post on this.
I’m having a hard time here- the president stands up for Alberto Gonzalez- and allows General Pace to get taken out by the cowardly scum on the left?
On the face of it- that’s a fairly disturbing comparison, isn’t it?
That’s ridiculous. The consequences of the 2006 elections have nothing to do with the reappointment of General Pace as COS. A single Senator can stop a hearing and subesquently such an appointmment, either in Committee or on the Senate floor, if the Committee votes to send it to the floor for an up or down vote. Even if the dems were in the minority this could be done.
Bush just made it clear that any non-PC officer who gets into the slightest political trouble will be automatically sacrificed. The gay lobby is too short-sighted to see what danger it puts them in when soldiers who protect the country from the Islamists are promoted or removed according to political whims and not according to ability. The Islamists are watching this closely and they know how to get rid of a troublesome enemy officer without firing a shot. Why, the infidel Sodomites will gladly help them! I am sure the Islamists cannot imagine Americans are that stupid. Or maybe that is what they are counting on.
psst - Pace retired so he could campaign against hillary - pass it on
It seems to me that nobody is going to get approved for an appointive office by the U.S. Senate tha does not spout the line approved by the gays.
This is pretty much what I suspected. Hillary won’t even have to clean house if she wins the election.
You’re absolutely correct about Elaine Donnelly-I still have the Limbaugh Letter from 1997 that featured his interview with her. She’s a great woman.
Indeed, all the more reason for the republicans to put him back up, assuming he’d be willing to endure the “friendly” fire with few if any republican Senators watching his back.
I agree.
he’s trying hard to earn a “marginally” at the beginning of your tagline
