The Senate PIMPS have already taken money by contractors etc. to ram this bill through. They must perform for their johns.

Legalizing the 600,000 illegal felons and the ones who have been ordered by courts to be deported, the Senate will be preserving the distribution network for the drug cartels!!!

"Interest groups pushing for the bill said Democrats were supposed to deliver 35 votes and Republicans were supposed to deliver 25. "From our point of view we did our job, and from our point of view the Republicans didn't," said Frank Sharry, executive director of the National Immigration Forum, which wants a bill that offers a path to citizenship to illegal aliens."

bump

“Senate Democrats opened the door to reviving the stalled immigration measure on Sunday, calling on Republicans to resolve their internal divisions and produce an agreement on how to move the legislation forward.”

Issue resolved. Build a wall, enforce existing laws and once twelve million illegals have been identified, bring a new immigration bill back to us and we’ll consider it.

“I can’t help but wonder if he’s competing with Jimmy Carter to earn the honor of being the worst president in, at least, our lifetimes”.

I believe Bush has already achieved this position.

I voted for him Twice.

Why do we keep calling this the "Immigration Bill"?

It should be called the "Freddy Krueger Bill". It won't die and it will kill American as we know it.

“I can’t help but wonder if he’s competing with Jimmy Carter to earn the honor of being the worst president in, at least, our lifetimes.”

If Bush did everything we wanted, but let’s say he was for embryonic stem cells, we would call him the worst President of our time.

It is irrelevant. Bush = Hitler, which means he is a baaaaad man. At least that’s what I read every day in the MSM.

What’s the EARLIEST they could re-introduce this bill? I’m thinking that if it can be delayed past the summer recess, that might finally be enough to kill it for good since that would bring it too close to next year’s elections.

And if we are going to be effective in DEFEATING him, Americans need to know who that someone IS and their agenda.

See my post #29. It's a representative sample of the proponents of Amnesty. Not even close to all-inclusive.

You many never have heard of them, but these are powerful K Street lobbyists in DC.

For example the National Council of Chain Restaurants represents virtually every major chain, employing about 3 million people (and many many illegals). The members of the American Meat Institute process 70 percent of America's meat products (includes Tyson, Cargill, Hormel, etc., all of whom closed plants and gave 20,000+ workers the day off for last year's May Day pro-illegals demonstrations around the country). If I recall, the National Restaurant Association represents 7,500 restaurants across the country.

These are powerful lobbies and lobbyists, and we haven't yet touched the League of United Latin American Citizens, Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, or the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials.

No need to look in dark corners for the proponents of Amnesty. Opensecrets.org and other watchdogs have been tracking them for years.

"George Bush is indeed creating his very own historic "legacy"."

What would we call it if this was being done by a Klinton administration?

I have been peppering our crappy DC Dope Senator Graham with daily calls

Graham has really gone off the deep end on this. Here in Virginia, even our new Rat Senator Jim Webb voted *against* all the cloture bills last week. So did John Warner, our Senator from the RINO party. Both of them were ambiguous when I called their offices, but at least they came through.

If anyone runs *against* Graham (hopefully a good conservative Independent), I may consider contributing.

My future contributions to the RNC or even Republican candidates for any elected office are very much in doubt at the moment.

Those aren't the puppet masters....they're just doing the work of the puppermaster, don't you think? Wouldn't it be Soros ... or multi someones.

No, I most adamantly DO NOT.

I do not believe in Star Chamber conspiracies or puppetmasters. That's LaRouche territory.

These are businesses and "advocates" working within their own interests (cheap peasant labor, new clients, new union members, more grants, etc), which happen to be diametrically opposed to the wishes of most Americans.
