Why Did C-SPAN Blacklist Savage?

Michael Savage, the #3 most listened to talk-show host in America, was honored by Talkers Magazine, the "Bible" of talk radio, with this year's Freedom of peech Award.

Recently, Talkers held a bash at which they presented the award. C-SPAN, which claims to be nonpartisan and nonideological, was there and carried most of the speeches. But for some reason, it blacklisted Savage's speech accepting the award.

Why would a nonideological network do this? More liberal media bias, obviously. C-SPAN has now willingly made itself part of the liberal effort to suppress freedom of speech in this country.

C-SPAN has become a media outlet for the nut jobs. If you listen to the callers, they call in with their conspiracy theories and Bush hatred.

If someone mentions to the C-SPAN host how left they have become, they of course deny it. Then the host will ask for an example.

Well C_SPAN, here’s an example. That Connie person had Jimmy Carter on for an interview one morning when a caller, on air said he was the worst president in history, this Connie person chewed told the caller that was not acceptable on the air.

That is just one example. However, NONE of their hosts tell the left wingnutjob callers that call President Bush a liar, Hitler and every other nasty name they can come up with to stop.

I watched some of it over the weekend and today when the Senate was in recess. C-SPAN certainly didn’t censor any of the language the panelists were using.

I remember seeing the John Birch Society annual convention on C*SPAN.

Well, I’ve no problem with starting this fire. I recognized Savage for what he really is years ago (and immediately stopped listening to his rantings). The clincher was his financial backing of Moonbat Brown for CA AG (of which he won much to this state’s detriment). I’d like to see Savage go the way of the DoDo bird.

Yesterday, Savage carried on about Kosovo and the Balkan states without the slightest historic knowledge or understanding of the dynamics of that region and its storied past. Serbia will acquiese in the separatist act because it, and only it is their ticket to EU admission. I think GWB was ill-advised to lead the cheer he did yesterday, but it's only another in a long line of dumb acts by him. Whether Kosovo is under Albanian influence or not simply doesn't matter; the world situation with Islam and the West will not be altered either way. Kosovo is 90% -95% Muslim anyway and has been a constant thorn in the Serbian eye. It's not a religious or even an ideological issue, it’s an historic quest dating back to 1815 and, while not the underlying cause, was the match that lit the fire of WW I in 1914. Poor Mr. Savage, he hasn’t a clue other than some cockamamie knee-jerk reaction to some wayward piece of propaganda issuing from some web site with an agenda.

Maybe, maybe not. But his message is conservative. His message is on mark. His message is allot clearer than some so called conservatives.
