I think that comes from Al Gore’s Induction Camp. Our Mayor just got back from one and he is spouting the same plan. Some of it *going forward* is a good idea but retroactive penalties are not a good thing.

They need to worry more about the local brown cloud and less about global warming.

"According to most polls, 70 percent of the people in Colorado recognize there is global warming," he said. There's a difference between recognizing global warming and understanding the cause of global warming. Just because you understand that the earth is getting a little warmer doesn't mean you believe that the cause is from human activities. Because it's not. It's the sun, stupid!

Apparently, Mork from Ork spread his seed far and wide while in the Denver area. Nanu Nanu.

It took me 3 hours to drive up the mountains to C-470 and get to the shopping mall in Lone Tree, Colorado yesterday. They want to bump my insurance for visiting the city? Good riddance to metro Denver.

Earth to Denver: You've got far bigger problems than global warming... It's just like the Arab countries. To divert attention from their squalid domestic situation, Arab leaders bring out the Jewish boogie man to whip the masses into anti-Israeli hysteria.

Liberals: just making life more expensive and less convenient for Denverites.

“The mayor is willing to use his popularity to ask people to do difficult things,” she said. “I hope people are ready to take this on.”
Translation: We are doing it anyway.
After all- its about good intentions and not results.
And furthermore- “If the people continue to object, we will close the TV, and radio stations, and pull the plug on that damn internet”

I live in mountain Colorado. No crime to worry about. I felt unsafe in the crowded metropolis. Why live with extra costs I can avoid?

Sure, they are. Like he handled last December's snowfall so well. The one that left every one stranded before Christmas. LOL!

I'm one of the 30 percent who doesn't think there's a problem. Why, it rained today here in Colorado. The 70 percenters are born idiots ready to believe just about any hokum that comes down the pike.

The quickest way to cut pollution in the Denver area would be close the airport. Between the taxiing planes, the ground equipment, and the vehicular traffic around the airport, it’s going to be about the largest source of pollution in the area.

Locating DIA near the Kansas border didn’t help matters.
