Even less time will pass before the Bush haters of the Left and Right must acknowledge that Bush’s advocacy of Global Democracy was necessary and brilliant.

(Its time to withdraw from the War on Bush-- your side is hopelessly lost in a quagmire.)

The MSM condemned this speech when it was made. Now they think it was great. Hindsight is 20/20.

Its worth mentioning Colin Powell was also against Reagan making that famous request of Gorby and company.

> There also needs to be a little credit for President Bush Sr. whom was actually President when the wall came down. When the wall fell, President Bush had been in office just a tad longer than W. had been in office when 9/11 happened. That is, I don't think Bush deserves very much credit regarding responsibility at all.

I was in Germany at the time and President Bush had authorized a lot of covert activities that helped get the East Germans in a frenzy. I don’t know all of what was authorized but it wasn’t a couple months after Bush took office I caught a Soviet “diplomat” scout scoping our site and at that time I knew something weird was starting to happen.
