Pissant, doesn't matter what you think.....if you go to the above link, you'll see the UCB is ranked for grad schools in the top 3 for engineering, computer sciences, math, chemistry, most social sciences etc....top 10 in most others...so you must have worked with the 3 morons that moved into your area.....I'm sure you will find a way to disparage the rankings...but they have been that way for awhile..... .....Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Cal and CIT are the top grad schools overall.....sorry to burst your bubble

It’s not bursting my bubble. Over-education is usually an indication of poor job performance in the engineering world. Been in this biz a long time.

If anything, this article illustrates why Ducan Hunter will be the ideal nominee in 2008. While the rest of the Republicans and Democrats are busy trying to extend social security to illegal aliens, Hunter is busy trying to beef up the military.

I’m not an enginner, but my father was a VP for Gas Operations for PG&E for many many years....so I’ve known many engineers both mechanical, civil and computer over the years.... They would tell you the same.....

Seattle was consistently ranked “the most liveable city” by experts for years. Eggs, beer and butter were “bad for you” for years (probably researche from Berkely). ANd AIrbus was going to bury Boeing because of their superior products and company structure. Lots of myths thought of as fact.

Uh, since we are going back and forth on this, it obviously is not just me who is “argumentative”. I hold no grudge for you having your opinion. I’m just giving you the facts on the ground from my neck of the woods.
But this is the 2nd time in recent months you told me “i used to be a nice guy” or some such. Nothing has changed. When I talk politics, I argue, just like the rest of the scads of freepers. When I post babes of the week, I don’t.

That’s about how many times the US News and others picked Seattle as the top city. Lotsa libs, lotsa bums, overpriced, but hey, full of liberals and progressives.
Alas, the libs have so mismanaged transportation and crime, even teh MSM has dropped us.
......and I stand by it....I posted facts about Cal and you wanted a scuffle with opinions from your buddies.... then you said your knew 3 Cal engineers and proceeded to generalize about flaming liberals.....yes, I stand by what I say cause I’ve heard stories from “buddies” too that make you look like less then a conservative in regards to certain affairs....so yes, you say you argue about politics but what about personal behavior not befitting a conservative?...... I don’t have a problem with arguing or debating anything, but challenging someone just to create an argument cause you don’t like them or their opinion personally frosts me.....I don’t look for arguments here either.....I don’t post a ton anymore so it says something that I have this run in again within a few months...
