Would 250,000 people on the Mall with “Security First” signs make a difference? It might get their attention since it couldn’t be ignored. Could we do it? We haven’t been able to in the past but this time seems different. I’d go (although I am in Maryland so that’s easy for me to say).

Perhaps a replication of the Czech "Velvet Revolution" in front of every county courthouse in the nation would be easier to organize. People gathering in the evenings (after work) in front of their courthouses...no slogans, no chants, no voices or signs at all...just the rythmic sound of house keys being shaken. IF the American people are of like mind as we here at FR, I'm sure the crowds would grow each successive evening to a point that could not be ignored by either the media or the politicians.

I was just musing on that same theme.

It's been a very long while since we (and by "we" I mean ALL Americans) have been in such a direct confrontation with tyranny.

Our Founders warned us over and over and over again that this might (and probably would) happen.

It's now beyond argument that Congress and George Bush are aligned, plotting, and scheming directly against the American people.

This is not representative government, it's naked and shameless tyranny.
