Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid called Marine Gen. Peter Pace, the outgoing chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, "incompetent" during an interview Tuesday with a group of liberal bloggers, a comment that was never reported.

Meanwhile, the moron confirmed Pace just a short while ago. I guess Reid's judgment post-war vote is as good as it was pre-war vote - these people think highly of themselves yet they keep voting for things they later call incompetent, not the mark of good judgment and competence if you ask me.

THIS IS BEYOND HIS WORST SIN. This is a rallying cry for all Americans, this is a non partisan issue. Gen. Pace served his nation for decades and has accomplished much. It is repulsive that he would disrespect a man in uniform while his whimpy pathetic self hasn't accomplished a damn thing other than sweet real estate deals. The GOP phones should be ringing off the hook. He should be forced to apologize in person to Gen. Pace.

I’m sorry,but having too much class isn’t the issue here. When any military person is chastized by a member of the Congress, especially one of the leaders, then in my book all bets are off. Pace ought to come out and say that Reid is a first class son-of-a-bitch, and that he would love to have the opportunity to kick the living crap out of the P.O.S. Senator and do it in front of the cameras for the whole world to see. That would stop the little worms from their insidious and treasonous actions against our Armed Forces, and I, for one, would love to see it!

It’s his job to say outrageous things to placate the extreme leftist groups so they will leave others alone and not notice that little in the way of radical change is actually happening. The radicals eat this up and go take a nap for a little while. When they wake and get riled again, Reid will say something else outrageous to put the leftie lion back to sleep. For all we know, this role he plays is exactly why he got his position in the Senate leadership and if he ever fails to carry it out, he will also be out of the role. The Democrats are scared of the radical left in their own party but this is no new tactic. The radical right has been lulled off in the same manner, though perhaps not so blatantly.

The problem with Reid is that he doesn’t seem to realize that the U.S. military is much more of a meritocracy than is the U.S. Senate. Reid got elected by a few thousand votes a few times and pretty much for just being in the Senate longer in a diluted pool of dimbulbs found himself as the majority leader of the dimmest just over half of the dimbulbs. If Peter Pace is “incompetent”, does anyone know what word we should us for Harry Reid?
