Good News for McCain, Time for a New Slogan!

A new ARG poll has finished slouching to Bethlehem, and like all ARG polls it shows numbers for McCain that are oddly undisastrous. I think this is the perfect time for the McCain campaign to employ a new campaign slogan: “It’s Only a Flesh Wound!”

TOPICS: Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: mccain; romney; slogan; wound
OK. I thought the "Onion on His Belt" comment was funny! This is the topper! And it's from the fount of all wisdom: Monty Python and the Holy Grail!

Some other FReeper said yesterday that McCain has finally gotten the money out of politics. Maybe that will work.

Speaking of Monty Python, is the ARG poll run from the Castle Arrrgh?

interesting, if you look at the poll, not the video clip, the top three republicans are NOT Guiliani, McCain and Romney...

Drop Romney. Insert Fred. Then you have the top 3.

That’s a national poll. Given that McCain, Giuliani and Thompson are all nationally recognized names, that’s to be expected. Romney is focusing on the early primary states like Iowa and New Hampshire where, according to polls, he is not only the frontrunner but has a sizeable, double-digit lead. If Mitt wins a few of these first in the nation primaries, then Mitt will move up in the national polls.

This is before Fred has even declared. Once he declares, it’s going to quickly get down to Fred vs. Rudy, with Rudy ending up with the short stick.

If Fred declares, the nomination is his.

Did you actually look at the poll. Romney started out AHEAD of Fred, then drifted downward, month after month. What? Are you saying he LOST NAME RECOGNITION?

Sorry, Reganesque, Romney's going nowhere fast, unless Fred decides not to enter.

McCain is a prime backer of Shamnesty. He has no chance with the base. Unfortunately, Bush and illegal labor allies may have enough cash to make us irrelevant. The peasants must know their place after all.

The new potential McCain slogans:

“I want to do to you what I’ve done to Arizona.”

“F%@k the Christians, I can still win anyways - I’m John McCain!”

“John McCain: He’s No Mormon.”

“Just shut up and take it, b!tch. I’m John McCain.”

“John McCain: Sticking it to you for over 20 years.”

“Screw it, I’m President even if I don’t win.”
