Politics: When Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid calls America's top brass "incompetent," one wonders if he's not really using what psychologists call "projection" — attributing to others what you most fear about yourself.
'Incompetent" is how Reid, talking to liberal bloggers on Tuesday, described outgoing Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman and Marine Gen. Peter Pace. He should talk.

It should be clear by now that the House socialists are not in anyway accoutable for their speech and actions. They can do what they want, without fear of the MSM, and certainly not from the RINOs hiding under their desks....
Has there been any call for his resignation? If not, maybe we need to flood his office with calls that he needs to go.
The president should rip Reid a new one for making such an irresponsible comment about our military leadership in teh middle of war. Also for calling the military operation a “failure” when our soldiers are fighting. Unfortunately, we have a president who sees no merit to standing up for the troops in that way.
I didn't think there would ever be a politician I disliked more than Tom Daschle, when he was around. Boy, was I wrong.
If they have failed it is not because they are incompetent. It i because you Harry Reid and the rest of the true incompetents have hobbled them and not let them succeed in a military manner.
General Pace should establish residency in Nevada and defeat Reid in 2010.
Reid has already tanked his approval ratings on his own, discrediting the whole Dem party in the process.

Reid’s Senate leadership will remind people of Carter’s presidency soon. It has all of the same strategic ignorance and misguided anger. They’re both great examples of how dilettantes can rise in the Democrat party.
