Excerpt -

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Friday appointed newly elected Labour party chairman and former premier Ehud Barak as defence minister to replace Amir Peretz, an official told AFP.

"The prime minister had a one-on-one meeting with Barak today, after which Barak sent Olmert an official request to be named defence minister as soon as possible," the official told AFP on condition of anonymity.

I dunno. I would say there’s been some bi-polar activity going on over there for awhile now.

It is time for sane people to depart that area and leave it to the dhimmis and Islamofascists to sort it out. I get a sick feeling in my stomach when I think about all the money the U.S. sends to governments in that area of the world. It is all down a rathole.

Did Bill Clinton have a hand in this?

Yes, I believe Ehud and Bill were drinking buddies.

Barek will attempt to appease Hamas by offering them Jerusalem, like he did before.

Barak is a former Israeli general who was strong-armed by the Clinton’s in the past, and will be strong-armed by them again if they are re-elected.

Until then, he’ll go as far as GWB lets him go, which will be a considerable amount toward smashing the terrorists in and around his area.
