Yes, isnt this nice....not Saw this here in the San Diego Union Trib. this morning. TJ has many Japanese, Korean, etc. factories also the VW has been made in MX.
Gee do you think Americans in San Diego can cross the border and work in these factories....not a chance.
Besides the illegals, thousands cross the border each day to work here in San Diego on green cards.
If you don't want Mexicans to have jobs in Mexico, and you don't want them to have jobs in the USA, where do you suggest they find jobs, exactly?

We aren't dumb, just suicidal. Otherwise we would use our God-given rights to purge our government of the traitors who are bent on wiping us out with their phony "free trade" deals.

Correct me if I am wrong, but havent most car plants that were built in Mex closed due to lack of sales. I.e VW Beetle and Chvey Nova? Oh and let us not forget Lionel trains he he, that proved they cannot even build toys let alone the real thing. You are wrong. Both Ford and Chrysler have plants in Mexico that build some of the most reliable cars sold in the United States.

Well if Chrysler was doing so good why did The Chrysler subsidiary of DaimlerChrysler announce in late June it will close three plants in Mexico and cut its workforce in the country by 2,600?

they’ve been assembling cars for 40 years,
but they still cannot manufacture one of their own.

Keep them poor, keep them ignorant, send the surplus to the USA so they can't fix their own mess. Men like Carlos Slim, friend of all US administrations, didn't get to be the richest man on earth by trying to do anything for his own people.

What exactly does Carlos Slim "owe" to his people? Do you mean Lebanese Mexicans? ;-)
Nobody owes anybody else a GD thing, unless they are in contract with the other party. "Social obligation" is something that should be left to the DUmmies.

Then why do US Citizen taxpayers have any 'social obligation' to them? You're just looking for something to piss and moan about, Clemenza. Carry on.

Then why do US Citizen taxpayers have any 'social obligation' to them? Not a damn thing, as William Graham Sumner would have said. We the citizenry have a social contract with the state the provide certain services in exchange for taxes, but some of us think that should be limited to roads and the military, nothing more, nothing less.

In many cases, it’s become CHEAPER to run a container through a MEXICAN PORT, then rail it in, than it is to deal with a West-Coast Unionized port...
