So much for Raider Nation...
In the meantime this is a good indication of why college coaches experience so little succes when they go to the pros.

Imagine what would have happened if we'd hired non-union labor. Then there'd be hell to pay!
The Official OAKLAND RAIDERS Ping List!
If you would like to join the finest ping list in all of FR--or you ever wonder what happened to that Hoffa guy--please FReepmail GOP_Raider. Thank you and GO RAIDERS!

NFL Ping consideration.
(BTW, your Red Sox put on a clinic last night against my Giants. Now we know what $120 million or so can buy someone—Barry Zito, for better or worse. :( ).

Let me see, you want me to pay you guys millions of dollars to play football, but the work is too hard?
Now we are going to have girlie boy football players? Amen.

Thank God!
Finally!
I no longer have to worry about not knowing all their stats...
I don't even have to remember their names,
their current standings,
where they are from this week,
(I start to lose track after El Segundo)...
It's all just too intense.

If were the coach I would look at cutting the whiners. If they do not want to practice hard then they probably do not want to play hard.
Go Pats!!!!!

Reading the Raiders board I frequent about this topic, a few posters seem to believe that it’s entirely possible some slack ass on the roster ran to the player’s union to complain. Others have blamed the drive-by media in the Bay Area because they were the ones that found this out initially.
At any rate, if it were up to me, I would make it a point that anyone that did whine about it to send their resumes to In N Out burger by the close of business on Monday.

“Jeez, only unions would complain about something like this.”
Why is it so important to you, that you had to whine about it here on FR?
Do you so enjoy hearing reports of professional athletes, in practice, inflicting injuries on their own team members, or on themselves, that you now feel deprived of your pleasure?

I’m a union member, and your pointed anti-union bias is offensive.
What is your interest in this matter? The well being of the players doesn’t seem to be on your agenda.

It does not seem prudent to risk a carrier ending injury, for a spring time workout. It is in no ones best interest.

Said NFL Players union head and ex-Raider, Gene Upshaw:
"We(they) no longer will be wearing helmets or pads. The game of football has become too brutal and we will be replacing said equipment with dresses and flags. No longer will we(they) have to practice, but instead we'll bring in a fashion expert to dress our players in the most stylish mid calf dresses. In keeping with this new and friendlier play, practices are canceled, unless it is an air conditioned confine. Sweating will not be allowed!"
Aren't unions great?
To: GOP_Raider
The union leaders need to be tied down and forced to watch the movie “North Dallas 40”. Football the way it was meant to be.
“Now poot, don’t you pee in my whirlpool bath... don’t do it”!

Im a union member, and your pointed anti-union bias is offensive. That's a rather ironic statement to read here on FR.

If you look around on youtube, you can find video of Nick Saban making an NFL player cry in training camp.
