Hizbullah denies was behind Katyusha attack

IDF officials believe Palestinian group, and not Hizbullah, responsible for rocket attack on north

Hizbullah denied it was behind the launching of two Katyusha rockets at Kiryat Shmona Sunday afternoon, the organization's TV station al-Manar reported.

The station also said that the IDF was currently firing mortar shells at the Shebaa Farms area in southern Lebanon.

Meanwhile, the Northern Command was holding meetings to evaluate the situation. IDF sources said that several Palestinian organizations were operating in southern Lebanon, and that they were possibly attempting to bring to an escalation on the northern border in conjunction with the crisis in Gaza, in order to create a two-front emergency situation in Israel.

Army officials explained that although the groups did not have sophisticated weapons like Hizbullah, they could create provocations that may lead to an escalation in the northern sector.

They added that while Hizbullah is not likely to have been behind the attack, the Shiite group may have supplied the Palestinian organizations with the rockets.

Roee Nahmias contributed to the report

This report illustrates very well the problem we have as we deal with terrorism whether it’s Israel or it’s the United States. It’s as if we must go after only the wacky man who fired the weapon not the whole infrastructure of terror.

impose a complete economic and military embargo

So Russia and China can be the only ones moving in with money and arms?

Don't think so.

Once we grab hold of the truth behind this religion, and stop wasting time and emotion worrying about offending them, we'll take Walid Shoebat's information to heart: Allah is basically the Great Deceiver (See my tagline).

Naturally, his followers ascribe to and emulate him. So what they say is less likely to be true than what you might expect, and deliberately so.

Why is he starting to sound like The funny Minister of Media when we were kicking Saddam’s butt? What was his name? “there are no US troops in Baghdad, etc...?”

That's what happens when you call it a crime and not a war.

That has been our problem all along. We keep trying to do everything surgically. The only way we can even begin to save the region is to clean out all the snakes.

Palestinian group, and not Hizbullah

Maybe it is the lack of a proper eye for detail, but from here I can't tell the difference between these Corporate entities.

There were similar rocket attacks back in late 2005 which were carried out by an Al Queda linked pali splinter group (source Haaretz). Haaretz’s latest is that three rockets were launched and a fourth failed to launch.

If you trace back who is arming and financing the Palestinians, Hezbollah, Mahdi Army, Taliban, Syria and some AQ in Iraq elements, all roads lead to Iran. Without the support of Iran, most of these terrorist organizations dry up. When are we going to address the REAL enemy?

True. I’ve heard it said before, but it’s just as true today as it was yesterday.

"f you trace back who is arming and financing the Palestinians, Hezbollah, Mahdi Army, Taliban, Syria and some AQ in Iraq elements, all roads lead to Iran."

And subsite Islam for Iran, then you'll be identifying the enemy correctly.

I wish I knew. I don't think the American people of the Bush administration have the stomach for it.

So the snake Nasrallah is popping his head out of the grass again! Not much of a surprise. But it could have been avoided if Israel had rubbed him out last summer.
