Well it didn’t take as long as I thought. The Republican National Committee called me today telling me how “they” defeated the immigration bill.

I told him real fast how disappointed I was with my president and my senators {Chamblis and Isiekson} and that I was still a Conservative and would never vote for a liberal but I sure as _ell wasn’t going to give them any money!

You shouldnt be disappointed with Chambliss and Isakson, they came around.

As for RNC how about ....
I am a long-time RNC supporter (over 12 years), but I am
now holding back contributing to the RNC because I do not
want to support pro-amnesty-for-illegal-immigrant candidates.
The Republican Party needs to become more unified on this issue,
but we won’t be unified around the hoax called ‘comprehensive immingrat reform’.

Unfortunately, a number of Republican Senators and our President decided
to support a very liberal bill instead of common-sense “Enforcement First” approach.

It’s time for Mel Martinez to step down as RNC chair.
His leadership of the RNC hurts the GOP, since he is at odds with most of the Republican grassroots
on the key issue of the day.
