Austin is a Very Liberal City but the juries will not hesitate to find someone guilty and give them the harshest sentence possible when the crime is violent.

Police say auto accident leads to Austin’s 11th homicide

" Wednesday, June 20, 2007, 09:32 AM

From the Austin Police Department:

At approximately 9:31 p.m. Central East patrol officers responded to a person down call at 900 Thompson Street. When officers arrived they discovered a male with trauma to the body, who was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries. David Rivas Morales, 40 (DOB: 04-09-67) was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Preliminary investigation indicates there was an auto pedestrian involving a small child in the parking lot of 900 Thompson Street. Immediately following the auto pedestrian, an assault occurred involving the driver of the vehicle that struck the child and Morales, who was a passenger in the vehicle. The child was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

According to witnesses several black males assaulted Morales when he stepped out of the vehicle to try and stop the crowd from assaulting the driver. It is believed there were 2,000 to 3,000 people who were in the area when the driver and Morales were attacked.

The driver was able to leave the area in his vehicle. The vehicle was recovered by police and the driver is cooperating with Homicide detectives.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have information to call the Homicide tip line at 477-3588 or Crime Stoppers at 472-8477. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1000 for information. This case remains under investigation by Homicide detectives. This is the 11th murder in 2007."

Milwaukee celebrated Juneteenth day with some random car swarms as well. Vandalized the cars, dragged the drivers out and beat them. The drivers in Milwaukee didn’t even hit anyone — it was just “funnin’,” I guess

Best BBQ I've ever had, including places in Texas, is a place in Milwaukee called Speed Queen. Trouble is, the neighborhood isn't the best. The drive-through has bulletproof glass, and if you don't know the neighborhood, it's best to use the drive-through and not get out of the car.

And I'd think it would be safe to assume you are wrong. The victim clearly has a 'brown' name, so it would be black on brown, not black on white.

I think you're right. They're in acccord with Mexicans when it comes to portraying whites as racists, but the bottom line is that they see immigrants as competition for the largesse to be gained from the public treasury.
