Carmelo is confused. Life is finite, therefore a life sentence is finite, not “infinite.” As for suffering, you don’t get a life sentence in Italy for playing snooker. You have to have killed someone. I’m all for killers suffering.

Yes, that’s what I thought. I suppose it might be a bad translation. And even if “infinate” is being wrongly used to mean “without bounds” as opposed to “without end” I’m pretty sure Italian prisions are not that bad.
