Did anyone listen to CNN radio news at the top of the last hour? The lady reporter said that Blacks were not joining the military and the number was down to 35000 enlistees. Then she said it was because of the Iraqi war that has killed(now get this) 35 THOUSAND TROOPS!
She must have learned her reporting skills from Israeli media:

Don’t listen to CNN radio news. It is biased and innacurate.
It’s too much work when they can hang out in the ‘hood’ with the welfare moms.
I dont listen to CNN Radio. Neither does any other Freeper.
We have lives.
And TVs.
Freudian slip. CNN hopes for this number.
No I don’t listen to CNN radio, but did she say 35,000 “dead”, or 35,000 “casualties”. Casualties of all degrees are somewhere in that range.
Good Lord
Yeah, the military is taking only high school graduates these days. That leaves out a lot of people who don’t have the skills necessary to operate high tech equipment. As for CNN, they themselves are mostly illiterate when it comes to military facts and figures.
“Iraqi war that has killed(now get this) 35 THOUSAND TROOPS!”
Those must be the same troops that killed the 650,000 Iraqi civilians they’re always talking about.
There is nothing else on earth as rare as an honest liberal.
“18 times the speed of light”
Wow, lets call Einstein to have him confirm.
Could you please post that experts agree osama is dead or alive, the picture of Europe, shuttle is going 18 times the speed of light, etc? Thanks.
Highly unlikely, I'd say?
35,000 dead.
CNN Radio is carried by [radio] stations for national news updates.
The CC station that runs Limbaugh use to have CNN Radio for the breaks. Now they use FOX News Radio.
Quite frankly, it turned out to be a barely noticeable improvement.
At least they don't have a condescending guy with a British accent doing the news breaks during Drudge Radio on Sundays.
I was listening to Rush one day, and they screwed up, playing the feed from CNN Radio for the half hour. It was a series of offerings with lines from the stories they were carrying at the time. I guess the station for switch to whatever they wanted for the spin.
I don’t listen to them usually. I went on a camping safari in Africa a few years ago and out in the middle of nowhere, in Tanzania, we came to a lodge and CNN was on the TV. It was the only way to get any news of the world. CNN has a very wide reach.
I dont listen to CNN Radio. Neither does any other Freeper who will admit it.
;-)
I didn’t hear about the 35,000 troops, but commonly hear about the millions of innocent Iraqis we’ve killed.
But let's stifle the Internet via the fairness doctrine so the MSM doesn't get caught.
I didn't even know they had radio.
Why bother, here in Minnesota we have Jason Lewis on KTLK to listen to! : - )
Gosh, the little things bother you don't they./snicker
It was about the same in Cancun many years ago. CNN had the only channel in English.
18 times the speed of light?
I thought warp drive technology didnt come till 2062 with zephram cochran?
Well it sounds like someone here, ought to be listening.
The actual number of troops killed is around 3500 so instead of saying 35 hundred the reader said thousand. A mere order of magnitude off.
Most likely the lady said 35000 casualities which is an entirely different issue and the total number is around that.
Whatever they say is irrelevant...the whole story is a big “So What”. Who the frick cares about what these hippies that hate America say. We all know they lie and spin to meet their sick goals. They have proven that they will trash anything that represents the good of this country and are not worth the time to listen to just like the wacked out hippie druggies you knew in college.
True, however I never knew any "hippie druggies" personally.
I trust that I haven't missed much in life.
I don't buy the reason or facts given.
There are still blacks in the Marines. Just not as many recruits as when I was in (12-14%).
A Rio Linda school dropout no doubt./sarc
A mere order of magnitude off.

Oh, you’re so picky! What’s a little zero between friends? The reporterette is probably cute, so who cares? I’ll bet you don’t approve of that “speed of light” mistake either.
Democrat misstatements don’t get much MSM coverage & are quickly forgotton.
Barack Obama made a major flub in commenting on Greenburg Kansas tornado disaster. Here is a link to the story along with an excerpt.
Obama Overstates Kansas Tornado Deaths
http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=d8p0jnr82&show_article=1
Excerpt:
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Barack Obama, caught up in the fervor of a campaign speech Tuesday, drastically overstated the Kansas tornadoes death toll, saying 10,000 had died. The death toll was 12.
Here is a guy who the Liberals are exalting as a fresh, astute, & brilliant presidential candidate. The Liberal media has quietly forgot this. Imagine the news coverage if a conservative Republican has made a flub like this.
I didn’t cause I don’t watch CNN. Why on earth would you??? If you want to hear the truth...stay away from ALL the TV shows and listen instead to Rush Limbaugh. THERE is where you will get the truth backed my FACTS. Why on earth do you think they are trying to shut down talk radio??????
Oh I do approve....it gives me a chuckle everytime I see it. I also like the map that mislabels the countries in Europe too. :)
Everytime I hear the left throw around grossly exaggerated numbers to push their agenda, I think of the 1980’s when they were claiming that there were “millions” of homeless in America.
Then, someone did an accurate study and found that the actual number of homeless throughout the nation was somewhere, I think, around 200,000 or less.
Facts to a liberal are like kryptonite to Superman.
I have never heard of CNN radio...lucky me.
My internet is always tuned to my home station from Memphis, or WABC out of NYC.
Speak for yourself I watch it when they are carrying something oterhers are not covering. And I will admit it. I am talking something happening live
Are they still on the air?
Aye, they did away with Arizona once, too.
IIRC, they were reporting an earthquake - they showed a map of the southwestern US. And there, left-to-right, was CA, NM and TX. I remember thinking, “That was one HELL of an earthquake!”
I listen to talk radio,KOH, out of Reno, Nevada. Whenever the ABC news updates come on I turn off the radio for two minutes. If ‘progressives’ have their way and the Fairness Doctrine is enforced, I’ll have to keep my radio off or listen to country music more.
Shocking! :-)
If the “Unfairness Doctrine” is imposed on the free people of America, who will ABC get to read the Conservative rebuttal to the news?
They got that number from their ace science reporter.8>)
Not only misstatements but also misdeeds. Look at How many years the harassment of Rush has endured but Patrick Kennedy gets caught with the same drug and there was a little blurb in the MSM then sheet silence. Rush in an entertainer but Kennedy actually voted while stoned. Kennedy continues to still get a free pass.

Licorice: "Confused, biased CNN, useless as a hamster's appendix,
and traitor to both feral animals and humans."

The other major talk station, a local one, uses ABC Radio News, and it carried the funeral without breaks.
CC/Limbaugh broke for the CNN news.
And AAR? Well, I just had to check out Al Franken's take, and they weren't taking it seriously at all.
Come to think of it, I have no idea what national news feed, if any, AAR used. I rarely, mostly by accident, tuned it in.
‘Its too much work when they can hang out in the hood with the welfare moms.’
You sir (or madame) should be ashamed of this idiotic post.
My son recently re-upped and will probably help save your sorry A$$.
And...NO! Neither his father or mother has received (or needed) welfare.
I use to listen to Radio Canada on shortwave for the international news at 6PM. After just listening to the ABC Radio news breaks during drive time, there wasn’t a bit of difference in either the stories or tone when it came to the US news. The gov’t sanctioned CBC must subscribe to the ABC news feed.
