dittos. It infuriated me that all their bluster about how Fox was airing what PBS wouldn’t and then they didn’t because geraldo needed TWO hours. I even set my recorder for the 3am airing and it still wasn’t on.

The producers appear to be presenting the false idea that there are certain elements in Islam which are “hijacking” the religion. Well, that’s a false idea that they are presenting — on two counts.
One is that the “religio-fanatical-fascist-governmental idealogy” of Islam is not being hijacked at all. Those people who do these many things of terrorism in the name of the “government of Islam” are simply following the true nature of Islam.
The second is that Islam is not a religion like Christianity or Buddhism or Mormonism or Judaism is. Islam is a “radical governmental idealogy” masquerading as a religion, in order to sneak into societies under the guise and pretense of “freedom of religion” — until they can take over and eliminate all other religions and overthrow the different governments and install their own government. They try to do that in all places where they spead, starting with all sorts of laws pertaining to their “government” saying that they have to have “Sharia law” in order to live in these other societies.
Thus, this so-called documentary is a false one, even if it was prohibited from being shown on a liberal network.

Perhaps for tonight's belated broadcast, it can be titled "Banned by PBS & FOX"
I thought about that stuff too.....but since YOU and I both have not yet seen the documentary, YOU and I both ought to refrain from denigrating its content.
Fox News is tooting their own horn a bit much here considering THEY cancelled yesterday’s planned broadcast (in favor of ‘round the clock coverage of an arrest in a murder case).
Fox News is not a conservative channel. Their staff (CFO, Murdoch, et al) are not Republicans. They are more conservative than the other media outlets but then CNN US is to the right of CNN Europe.
I don’t have cable so I will be sitting this one out. I wish more pressure had been brought to bear on PBS. They did this country a disfavor by pimping CAIR in the “real” documentary (airing this on Fox will always brand it as a “conservative effort”).
PBS’s America At A Crossroads denied any links between CAIR and terrorist groups and said that the only criticism comes from a small but vocal group of conservatives and Israeli supporters.
PBS’s America At A Crossroads underlying point was that “America” is a crossroads and needs to shape up. We need to leave muslim lands because it is our presence there (politically, militarily, and corporate) that is offensive to muslims. This isn’t racism. The muslims in “muslim lands” are supremacist in ideology. They hate people of the same nationality who convert away from Islam even more than they hate kufir (non-muslims) because we never were “saved by Mohammed” in the first place.
When it is said that we need to “leave” muslim lands, it means not only the muslim lands of Kuwait, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia. But also the muslim lands of Israel, Turkey, Indonesia, and Kosovo. I wonder when they will also lay claim to Spain, Michigan, and Massachusetts.
The REAL crossroads after 9-11 (and the continued support in the muslim world FOR terrorism) is that ISLAM is at a crossroads. Stand up and purge the intolerant violent cultists from your ranks or be lumped together. Islam must reform itself or else be tossed on the scrapheap of history.
I’ve read with that producers of that documentary have said — themselves — through their various interviews and that’s what I’m responding to. They’ve basically already told people what they’re presenting in their documentary. It’s no secret.
Thus, since I know what their focus and presentation is, I say the above comments. As I said, it’s no secret what they’re presenting, and what they’re presenting is false (just as false as President Bush saying that Islam is a “religion of peace” [what a crock that is, too]).

Well, Islam cannot reform itself, without getting rid of Mohammed, as the their supreme prophet of this evil and false form of government, and without getting rid of the Koran and the Hadith (Mohammed's authoritative sayings).
In other words, Islam cannot reform itself without totally destroying Islam itself. So, there is no "reforming" of Islam -- but only the destruction of the government of Islam.
And if you think that the Muslims will get rid of their "revered" prophet -- well, you've missed all their "demonstrations" against people who disparage Mohammed, by simply drawing cartoons of him. Yeah, if you think they'll do that.... sure...

Islam may be masquerading as a religion now for “freedom of religion” claims but Islam has never tried to instill itself peacefully into a region. It is like Communism in that regard.
Communist dictatorships don’t “just happen”. They happen through political overthrow.
Islam becomes the dominant faith because it conquors a region and proclaims it to be “Islamic territory” and instills Islamic law.
Once this has happened, kufir (non-muslims) are converted by the sword to Islam, enslaved, or treated as second class citizens under the law with fewer rights and protections. In some instances of Islamic rule (even in the modern world), religious expression other than Islam is forbidden.
It is an intolerant ideology. It is Islamic supremacist thinking. There should be no concept of “muslim lands”. There may be a muslim majority there but FREEDOM of religion must exist. Those who choose Islam should do be forced to do so under penalty of death. People of all faiths should be able to walk freely there and even promote their own faiths.
It is a mad world where we have a “separate of church and State” and let a foreign State fund the expansion of Islam in America. Especially when we consider that State (Saudi Arabia) does not permit ANY other religion to be practiced there, is the HOMELAND of that religion (all muslims bow to Mecca 5 times every day), and in the not so radical worldview allegience is to Islam and its supporters, not the homeland from which you worship. Islamic law prohibits muslims from going to war against muslims. Now tribes may battle but the Imam will never support a muslim going to war against a muslim in a kufir’s army.
Jimmy Carter is calling Israel an “apartheid”. Jews cannot enter Saudi Arabia at all. Non-muslims cannot enter the cities of Mecca and Medina under penalty of death. Non-muslims cannot practice their faiths or own their religious texts in Saudi Arabia. Non-muslims are second class citizens in Saudi Arabia. Jimmy Carter is a paid shill of his antisemitic Saudi masters. The real apartheid system exists in Saudi Arabia.
When Israel bans Christians, muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, wiccan, Scientologists, and atheists from visting or reading their texts quietly on a bus, then we can talk.
That’s because you’re looking at today. The show was “supposedly” on yesterday — but even then, it was never on like they said....

Correct, Mohammed was “the last prophet” and for anyone to try to reform Islam, they will be branded a liar.
The laws of Islam remain the laws of Islam regardless of how “politically incorrect” they are in the modern era.
The Imam at Ask The Imam will tell you this. Slavery is still legal. They hem and haw and say that certain conditions must be met: the slaves must be seized in jihad (doesn’t sound like a personal struggle to me) and taken back to an Islamic territory (there’s that concept again of political rule over religious beliefs) before being divided up.
Who here is comfortable with these concepts being accepted AND promoted by a faith that claims 20% of the world’s population (whether that faith is by choice or force)?

I really don't give a shit if they claim to be moderate or not. If they follow the writings of their unholy book, they know exactly what they are supposed to do.
In a nutshell, convert by force, or behead and cut the fingers off of the Infidels that do not embrace islam.

Actually, I don’t care if people watch it or not, as long as they know that it’s not the true picture, any more than President Bush’s statement that “Islam is a religion of peace” — is not true either. Who knows why he’s saying such a blatantly false statement.
But, as far as the schedule is concerned, I looked on my TV schedule on cable and it doesn’t show there. I went to the TV Guide on the Internet and it doesn’t show there, either. So, I looked everywhere I know where to look and I couldn’t find it listed anywhere for a later time. And there are comments already posted here that it was supposed to be shown at two times earlier and it never showed. So, I don’t know any different than those facts.
What people really need to know about Islam is simply that it’s not a religion, for one thing, that it’s not being “hijacked” for another thing, that it will never be reformed, for a third thing and that it’s an evil and false governmental idealogy designed to destroy and take over the western governments and societies. If people know that, they know all they need to know.
The only “solution” for Islam as that evil and fanatical and false governmental idealogy — is simply its total destruction — nothing less than that will provide a solution.
Any documentaries trying to present anything else other than Islam’s total destruction is simply a false and misleading documentary.

Well, someone else here on this thread is saying it’s supposed to be on tonight. Who knows? I sure don’t since Fox News couldn’t show it when they said they were going to.
I mean, is that a way to get a wide viewer audience for a show? Is it by announcing that you’ve got two showings one night — cancel both showings and then sneak it in on the next night? Is that they way that Fox News thinks that they’re going to get a lot of people to watch this.
If anyone has a problem with the “viewing” of this showing and is trying to actually “suppress” it — it appears to be Fox News who is suppressing it by not giving anyone accurate information when it can be seen (and thus people cannot even program their recorders to list it).

I was recently having a conversation with an Iranian now a US Citizen. He moved here in ‘78 after the Iranian Revolution. He told me he hated the radical muslims. He said he was part of a religion that was much older than Christianity and Islam. And ancient religion of Persia.
It's remarkable that otherwise intelligent people, including our leadership, still fail to see the obvious.
Even the most questionable religion fails the muslim test: "we are out to take over the world by whatever means is necessary", and daily underscore their primitive, murderous commitment.
No other religion has ever been allowed such tolerance. Even the "Assassins" eventually were wiped out.
Well, not to put too fine a point on it, and at the risk of jinxing a great trend, I believe it has been well over a year since dummy has repeated that statement.
Not spouting lies. If you check yourself, you’ll not find it on the TV Guide on the Internet. I looked, checked it and it’s not there. I checked the cable guide, which is “live” and updated all the time. It doesn’t show there, either. I stated also that several people said they didn’t see it show on the earlier listings either.
Those are all facts and not lies. Those are verified facts. You’re the one who is trying to portray those statements as lies, when you can check them all out yourself and find it to be true. Anyone can, plus reading right here on this thread where others have stated the show never aired when it was said to be airing — two different times.
Now, if it actually does show up, that will be cause for declaring a “miracle” — especially since Fox News has messed it up so bad. In fact, it’s questionable whether Fox News actually wants anyone to see it or not. If they did, they would have shown it the first time (or the second time). So, now..., they’ve lost all those people who would have seen it before. It sounds more like Fox News is trying to sabotage their own showing of the documentary.
HOWEVER, with that being said (which are all facts, which can be verified by anyone) — IF — Fox News does actually show it — sometime — I’ll be glad to see it, although it’s a totally false presentation of Islam. I like to see the false information that is portrayed about Islam, as well as the truth about Islam. You can see what the truth is about Islam from my above comments.
I’ll be putting this time slot down on my DVR on Cable, and we’ll see if it actually comes through like they are pretending that it is.... (just like yesterday, for two different showing times that never made it).
I’ll have more comments once (and IF) I ever get to see it....

I've always compared islam to gunpowder (so appropriate on so many levels): Without any of the three main ingredients it becomes something else.
1. Militant, active, armed proselytizing.
2. A set of laws that supersede all civil authority.
3. A system of controlling even the minutest aspect of every person's life.
If there is a "religion" in that mix, in the sense most normal human beings view it, it is non-functional.

Reading a post such as yours gives me hope knowing that at least 1 person in the entire United States gets it.
The challenge of course is getting others to come to the realization that this all encompassing "way of life" is much more than just a religion.
Sadly though I don't think there is time to reverse the damage already done to America. By the year 2020 I fear that America will for all intents and purposes be finished as a viable nation.
Just thought I'd let you know that FOX NEWS is my TV news channel of choice.
I should also mention that whenever Geraldo appears, my TV goes dark.
