Do supporters of Palestinians love Arabs or just hate Jews
Frontpage Magazine ^ | June 22, 2007 | David Hornik

Gaza has now reached its nadir as a poverty-stricken, Islamist terror state. Michael Medved quotes Gazan poet Bassem al-Nabris as writing that, if there were now to be a referendum in Gaza on whether the Israeli “occupation” should return, “half the population would vote yes. But in practice, I believe the number of those in favor is at least 70%.”

How did things get this way? Is it time for soul-searching among the Western countries—including an important part of the Israeli body politic—that long regarded “Israeli occupation” as the ultimate evil, to be ended at all costs without checking too closely how it was done or the consequences?

(Excerpt) Read more at frontpagemag.com ...

TOPICS: Israel
KEYWORDS: gaza; israel; palestinians
The author presents fairly persuasive and undeniable facts that by most objective measures the Arab residents of Gaza were much better off under Israel. Given the relatively good conditions under Israeli "occupation" why is that occupation spoken of as if it were the worst thing imaginable. The only reason is that supporters of the Palestinians don't really love Arabs they just hate Jews. Better education, more prosperity, better education counts for squat when they don't get what they really want which is to kill or dominate Jews.

I’ve often found it amazing how the Democrats get huge percentages of both the Jewish vote AND the Jew-Hater vote, how they pull this off I don’t know.

Of course they were. “Palestinian” suckers are nothing but a jihadist rallying point.

Based on my observations, I would say that hate is a stronger motivator. You can tell because their policies do not help the Palestinians. Not ever.

Muslims have one problem that just won’t go away. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what you do to them or for them, in the end, they will always hate Jews and infidels.

The left doesn’t care about the poor oppressed people of the third world, they just hate Western Civilization. What happened to the passionate concern for the “oppression” of blacks in Rhodesia, now that it’s Zimbabwe and Mugabe commits atrocity after atrocity? They care no more about it than they did massacres in southern Sudan, Uganda, Nigera, Somolia, Darfur, Burma, or anyplace else that white people weren’t doing the killing.

I just watched “The Battle for Algiers,” a docudrama that in 1965 won all sorts of film awards. I did a little research of the actual events of the 1954-62 war for Independence. The film, of course. completely distorted history because they wanted to glorify an anti-colonial struugle. As a matter of fact, Islamism had already reared its head, and made impossible any “moderate” government taking over Algeria. The radicals killed any moderates who might have come to terms with the French.

A: Niether. They hate Western Civilization, and see Islamofascism as a way to destroy it.

Israel and Palestinians are just handy stand-ins for the West and Anarchy. They always prefer Anarchy, because it gives them the opportunity to implement their future dystopia.

If they loved Palestinians would they prefer that they starve in squalor as opposed to living under Israeli rule in relative prosperity?

Your conclusion is very much on target.

However, you should not have changed the original title of the article before posting it. That rule is in effect on FR to avoid repeat postings of the same article under different titles. What you should have done is placed your title (comment) in brackets next to the original title.

I've often found it amazing how the Democrats get huge percentages of both the Jewish vote AND the Jew-Hater vote...

That's because too many Jews in the US are brainwashed from childhood with myths about the alleged beneficence of the 'Rats and the alleged antisemitic character of the GOP. They are programmed from an early age to see no evil in any politician with a D next to his name. In other words, like addicts, they do things against their best interests because they are pathetic and can't help themselves.

The Jew-Haters, by contrast, know better where their (perverse) interests are best satisfied.

Look, they are just a bunch of Jew haters who would not survive one day living in Gaza or in Havana under Castro. Their ability to deceive themselves is infinite.

This issue has been bounced around on FR many times since I’ve been here, probably many times before as well. Basically a lot of people have Jew-hate, on the right and on the left. For a while, it seemed there was more jew-hate on the right. Now, as we all know, there is far more of it coming from the left. A lot of Jews just haven’t caught up with the change. Thank God I’m not one of them, I may be a September 12th conservative, but it is permanent.
