"I’m not sure what derangement syndrome Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is suffering from, but on Friday’s “Hardball,” he actually blamed the 9/11 attacks at the World Trade Center on President Reagan’s rollback of CAFE standards in 1986."

So we have gone from Bush’s fault to Regan’s fault....

Kennedy and Carter seem to have the same mental defect.

Robert F Kennedy Jr is a sad exemple of a human being, except to those blinded by his pedigree. Who gives a flying tart what his drug-fried brain thinks?

What is this man’s greatest accomplishment? Running a tax dodge charitable foundation created by his family trust money? Bamboozling the Catholic church into legitimizing his multiple get from multiple women under an aura of matrimony? Passing the bar exam on the 7th try...,if at all? (oh wait, maybe was JFK Jr) Continuing to posture before the press as a public figure under the banner of his dead father’s name?

I am beginning to think these Kennedys are a terrorists group....they walk like one, they sound like one, and when a duck walks like a duck, and it sounds like a duck, then by golly its a duck.....

We had best get them OUT OF ALL OFFICES of our Government!!!

Another brain dead comment was his saying the US would now be a prosperous country if Reagan had`nt rolled back CAFE standards. He`s saying the US is not a prosperous country. He should try telling that to the rest of the world.

Let’s not forget that this guy (RFK Jr.) always sounds like he’s about ready to bust into tears. He’s got some strange voice/speech thing going on that makes it sound like some bully’s just beat him up, took his lunch money, and stomped on his glasses. What a Looser.

He has added his (family) name on numerous feel-good lawsuits and cases, and his family money even purchased (er, endowed) him a professorship at Pace Law school. But what a dummmy. Heroin and head-on family football tackles killed a few million extra brain cells he badly needed. RFK Jr is an empty suit in terms of intellectual contribution. But of course, hero-worshipped as a Kennedy crusader by equally brain-dead libs, enviro nuts, social fawners over the nouveau rich, and the press (need I say more).

What’s sad about this is that even Junior Bobby is NOT stupid. He knows very well that his screed is WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. Like all of the socialists, he doesn’t care. It sounds good. The idiot lib voters will buy it and spread it around. (And they tell us we don’t need conservative talk shows.)

***Continuing to posture before the press as a public figure under the banner of his dead father’s name?***

NO! Under the banner of his dead grandfather, Joe Kennedy, who was our ambassador to England before WWII, and who sympathized with Hitler. What does that tell us about the Kennedys?

If we had left those fuel economy standards intact, Ronald Reagan rolled them back, we would not have had to import one drop of oil after 1986. Think of what that would have done to our history. The World Trade Center would probably still be standing.

The nineteen young men in good health wealthy and educated, didn't give up their promising lives for oil. They struck the Infidel for the best reason-an eternal reward from God.(Allah)

This problem is about religion (Islam). - tom

So we have gone from Bush’s fault to Regan’s fault....

The Kennedy's are smarter than Jorge. They are still mortal enemies of Jorge, but they will not speak bad of him in public as long as he plays the useful idiot on amnesty. The fact that a Kennedy declares Reagan the villain not Bush is simply confirmation that there is Kennedy wing of the Republican Party. When they are through mutilating his political corpse, they will throw him on the ashheap of history where Jorge will remain undefended because he foolishly made his enemies his friends and his friends his enemies.

Ooooh. Too bad for RFK, Jr. that the rollback only applied to 3 years worth of cars as the following summary from the history of CAFE standards details.

But then, his comments only serve to remind us of one of President Reagan's most cutting yet salient quotes: "It's not that our Liberal friends are ignorant, it's that they know so much that isn't so."

http://www.policyalmanac.org/environment/archive/crs_cafe_standards.shtml

SUMMARY

One of the least controversial provisions of the Energy Policy and Conservation Act of 1975 (P. L. 94-163) established corporate average fuel economy (CAFE) standards for new passenger cars. As oil prices rose, there was little expectation that manufacturers would have any difficulty complying with the standards. However, oil prices softened and the demand for small cars diminished. In response to petitions from manufacturers facing stiff civil penalties for noncompliance, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) relaxed the standard for model years 1986-1989.

Bobby Jr. -

You are the grandson of a bootlegger.

Your dad, despite all the revisionist history, went after your grandfather's old business partners - the Mafia - after your uncle stole the election and became President.

Your uncle was a plagiarist who padded his war record to get elected. His complete lack of testicular fortitude got people killed in Cuba.

Your cousin is a murderer.

Your other cousin is a drunk.

Your Uncle Ted is a murderer and a drunk.

Given your rich family history, why would anyone give a flying f*** what you have to say about anything?
