Like John Edwards, Richard Burr will be a one-term NC senator. NC voters want and expect representation of OUR views.

Called Sen. Burr’s office yesterday, left a message.
Just fired off an E-mail to his Chief of Staff. Polite but warning Sen. Burr that we will not forget his vote come election time.

"Is Aaron Burr an ancestor?" I remember reading at the time of the campaign that he was related to Aaron Burr, but that he is descended from a brother/uncle/cousin of Aaron, not in a direct line.

Burr needs to realize an AYE on cloture is an AYE on the entire bill. The cloture vote is more important than his final vote on this horrendous bill. This vote is where it counts.
His silly amendment is bullsh!te, meaning nothing! It's his excuse for a moment of glory and having it both ways, not to do anything really meaningful. It's an act of a spineless compromiser.
If he weasels on this one, he's going to be toast in his next election. I'll work to make sure of that.

I have been all over those phone numbers and emails. Funny thing is that there is ZERO response from his office. No "thank you" emails no information on the the other end of the phone either.
I am going to call and email today and tomorrow but I can say that I really think I am wasting my time with this guy. He has made it clear that he is not serving the people.
I also moved to NC recently. Too many Liberals have moved here from the NE. Funny that they all fled the Taxation and corrupt Government of their home state, but are bent on having the same insanity flourish here in NC. Go figure.

The only yahoo here is Burr. And all of his collegues that think we are stupid enough to fall with this. They vote for cloture, we’ll tell their constituents the truth. they voted for amnesty.
Call them and reiterate we’re not yahoos and we know it’s a vote for amnesty if you haven’t.
Ingraham is doing a call in to all Senators this morning, right now whse’s on hold for Coleman. Who’s trying to avoid answering, they are playing lame music instead of picking up.
