That’s the problem if the U.S. promotes the homosexual lifestyle. This is not skin color. Engaging in the behavior is a choice. The U.S. military should not support deviant or immoral behavior. The quarters in the military are very close, and it is uncomfortable for homosexual men to be checking out other men. Not to mention, diseases could be spread and focus taken away from duty if homosexuals are engaging in sex.
How come Gays haven’t demanded to be put on the Census as a distinct group?
The "soliciting" was done by sexual perverts of a different orientation than those who are themselves also homosexual, but it was "soliciting" in any case.
The Don't Ask Don't Tell policy allowed the Abu Ghraib perverts to slip into the military and mess with prisoners.
The NOW gals have no fear of you wanting to shower with them.
First of all, any homosexual can serve, until he breaks military law. Abu Ghraib incident was ALSO against military law, and the consequences were the same. So what’s your point?
That's the part that's missing in the current law.
Not that our relationship with the international press would have been any better, but the Dems wouldn't have been so easily handed a serious political criticism of our involvement in Iraq.
In this situation our national security was compromised by the sexual inclinations of a handful of people.
Wekk maybe so, but do you think the deviants who did that would have told the military they were perverted?
I would imagine there are ways they could have been induced to confess early on in their military careers.
I don’t care much for the subject matter, but it’s interesting how “orientation” is the mandated terminology here. Why would that be?. Because some folks have a _plan_; you might not like it or agree with it, but that’s another issue.
Whatever the subject, you can always tell when it’s being manipulated when certain axioms come into play.
Remember when “sexual preference” was the politically correct phrase? Well, not anymore. Preference is verboten, and usage might result in re-education or worse, a lecture and golly knows what. I really have no idea, other than “preference” implie a *choice*. (and we all know liberals are ALL ABOUT CHOICE, right? Right? Hm.
Good point. I stand corrected. ;-)
Just like the homosexuals.
The law must be revised so that we can boot these people out of the military before they have access to the prisoners.
