Perhaps a S/N change is in order, either that, or a change in you tagline disavowing your namesake.

Oh, hell, no one with an IQ above freezing point would believe a word I said now anyway after this shamnesty business.

"Or, he could finally, after six and a half years, get serious about border control and employer sanctions, i.e. enforce existing law. Since he has declared the status quo to be a "crisis," this would be the logical choice - but does anybody expect logic?"

You know, one thing I wish Bush would have come out this strong about is SS. If he would have pushed as hard to let us put our $ in a private account I would have been ecstatic.

He folded like a lawn chair on that and then came out and dug in his heels over this pig?

"If this monstrosity if killed - and please Heaven make it so - then Bush has only two choices:

He can do nothing about securing the border, i.e. the status quo. This would seem to be his preferred choice.

Or, he could finally, after six and a half years, get serious about border control and employer sanctions, i.e. enforce existing law. Since he has declared the status quo to be a "crisis," this would be the logical choice - but does anybody expect logic?"

So you don't think he'll just issue some executive order giving them a de-facto amnesty? You know, some Paul Begala-like proclamation "stroke of the pen, law of the land" kind of thing. That is my real fear. If President Bush does not get his way, will he go so far as to act on his own?

This is all just so amazing. There is nothing in his entire administration that he has fought so hard for, not for his staff, not for the courts, not even for the war in Iraq. If this so important to him, how far will he go to get what he wants? It's scary to think about.

UTTER BS.

FNC is just trying to get the calls to stop.

DON’T TRUST THE MEDIA!!!!!

The fix is in. Reid would not have brought it back unless the they already knew the net result. the back room deals were already done.

Remember FNC has their personal friend tony snow to feed them the story.

beltway disease rules supreme.

No, too much existing law, regulation and court decisions. Not even Bush would try that.

The scope of E.O.'s is considerable but most often they govern areas where Congress has not established a formal and explicit body of law and where the courts have not ruled.

Why do you want 20+ million Illegals to become new Democrat Socialist voters and thus destroy the Republican Party and any chance that Conservatives might have to retake power forever.

” I bet nobody is more relieved at this turn of events than Hillary and Obama.

It was a huge no-win for them.”

Lets see if these great leaders have the courage to vote this time. My bet is they withold until it’s a winner or loser either way.

2nd bet is they don’t vote at all if its dead. Saving themselves from expressing their real opinion, but using the ultimate cover of it wouldn’t have mattered.....

What was Reid thinking at the last moment today desperately trying to get some sort of “conference” going? What was up with that? Probably will try again tomorrow. I just know that they are not going to let it die and are going to say, oh well, we can wait and finish this after the holiday!

I hope it will be killed but we need to get the traitors out of the Senate and stay alert - one never knows when the Bush/Kennedy/Kyle/Martinez/Graham/Reid et all clique will try to resurrect it again. Just when I thought it was dead, there was Bush in a frenzy like an addict for heroin.

We need to start looking into recall of those senators. Even it it doesn't go through, they might get the message and a scare. There already is a recall effort on the way regarding Martinez.

It's what happened to California. We've seen America's future here already.

When Brownback voted with the democrats last year (Kennedy-
McCain) on the Judiciary Committee a Catholic group emailed
me to call Brownback and to thank him for his courage in
casting a “truly Catholic vote.” They said he got an enormous number of negative calls and to support him. I am a Catholic and that really upset me. Since then he seemed
to have backed off and then that vote yesterday was more
than I could take. Even if he votes no tomorrow I am through with him. However, I will never again vote for a
democrat.

After some of the recent scorching hate mail FNC has received from former viewers (like me), they may be looking for a rock to hide under as well. Here's a letter I wrote them this evening on a sob story they wrote about some Asians who just didn't care enough to make certain they were legal immigrants and now they face deportation. Even FNC admits their case has no legal merit whatsoever.
First you promote that leftwing mayor of NYC, now it's sob stories over all these illegals nonstop. That family didn't care much about their status or they would have pursued this with an immigration lawyer all along. But they didn't care enough and now you want to help ram the shamnesty through with a sob story over a case which actually has absolutely no legal merit whatsoever.

Fair and balanced, my shiny white butt. Why don't you show some of the victims of drunk hit-and-run illegals driving our roads without insurance? Why don't you show any of the tens of thousands of rape victims and molested children victimized by the illegals who are sexual predators? Why don't you cover all the gang activity from illegals, the elderly cowering in their now-dangerous neighborhoods, the people in border states who live in terror? Why don't you report on the massive violence of racist illegals (La Raza) against our own black citizens and the role played by those organized Hispanic racists in this shamnesty?

But Fair And Balanced is just a propaganda marketing phrase as it turns out. You refuse to report the news you don't want people to hear.

I never ever expect to see or hear anything from any of you again (including Brit Hume for whom I once had considerable respect). Especially that dimwit McGovernite Fred Barnes and that weird goofball Dr. Strangelove neo-con guy you wheel out who seems to have all of you laying on his little therapy couch with your legs spread wide and your little heads so empty, empty, empty.

From now on, it's Lou Dobbs and Tucker Carlson for me. Screw you. Really.
