We will work toward a day when a democratic Palestine lives side by side with Israel in peace
Seems to me President Bush, SOS Rice and Czar Hughes really have a handle on the mideast.
I do think a state of some sort is in the cards, anything that can be desparately patched together for the legacy. As though history will forget the reprecussions. Like we've forgotten Carter and Iran.

Not everyone has forgotten. From a rational standpoint, we need a voice in the middle east. Problem is, Islamofascists are not rational. And we march on with the pretense that they are.

My solution is to send a couple of Sicilians from Chicago in pins triped suits and violin cases and have them read the riot act. Of course, It’s only in my imagination. We actually tend to deal with gangsters by sending flowers and sacrificial lambs followed up by the BenDover brand of vaseline.

As to Cacique's suggestion, no one plays the violin anymore. A violin case would stand out like a sore thumb. I can't imagine what would happen it you tried to take one on an airplane.

We can send our envoys on airforce One. They wouldn’t play a violin anyway, they would play the Thompson instead.

This quisling is out to destroy us all with his pathetic pandering. I've never been so *&^%$# disgusted in my entire life.
The Democrats want him impeached. He deserves much worse than that - he needs to be run out of town on a rail.

I wish someone would explain to me why he would send a woman to a Muslim country to act in our interests. Just goes to show how much Georgy boy understands the muslim culture and how they treat and disrespect their own women, much less ours. As if he got a lot of mileage with Condo Rice. What a nimrod.

My problem is not sending an envoy. The problem is the message of surrender.

My envoy would NEVER surrender. He would have a different message. Something about turning all that sand into green glass.

US President George W. Bush on Wednesday announced that he would appoint an envoy to an organization of Muslim states and endorsed British Prime Minister Tony Blair as the new Quartet representative.”
Pres. Bush is filling another job an American won’t do, with a foreigner.

The separation of church and state clearly does not apply the US when dealing with the Empire of Islam.
And the ACLU is MIA as usual. Mosque and State is A-OK with them. Hope they remember this with Islamists try to convert them by sword.
