These guys have huge warchests, and full Party support in the Primaries. Until we’re ready to vote against them in aGeneral Election, we might as well admit they’re there for life and we approve of what they do.

Tell that to Senator Smith of New Hampshire.

I will give Craig a pass, in fact I will give even Kyl a pass.

Hagle, and Graham shall be punished for this.

No Fan of Spectre or Snow, the are against us on most important things.

I sure miss Allen and Santorum. Nickles for that matter.

“I guess the good people of Idaho will make the ultimate decision , if he runs again . I read an article awhile back that stated Craig might not seek re-election .”

Craig has stated that he is not running for re-election. However, he is raising money and doing things that indicate he may have changed his mind.

Rumors of Craig’s homosexuality continue (as they have for years). Now, a Boise newspaper reporter is claiming some hard evidence and threatens to out Craig. It is uncertain how such allegations will play out with the Idaho electorate. Craig has vigorously denied being a homosexual, and even got married to prove the point.

Idahoans are very conservative socially, and it will certainly be a negative. How much is anyone’s guess. To Idaho’s credit, they are a smart electorate and negative politics generally don’t work with them.

If we can’t DIRECTLY nominate good senators, how are we going to get our legislators to pick good senators?

Nickles was awesome, but Oklahoma does have the two best senators in America!

Craig is generally very good on conservative issues. On RTKBA and support for military and veterans issues he is great.Idaho is agri-biz...period.One half of his campaign funds come from there. You have got to come through for your supporters once in a while. These guys need more than our votes every six years. That is a reality.I bet he is one of the happiest people in D.C. right now.We could do a lot worse.Remember Frank f%#@ing Church.

Elect good state legislators.

The way things are now, it takes millions and millions of dollars to even run for the U.S. Senate. A state legislature would send one of their own. That person would be, beholding to the state legislature, not the big money interests who funded his campaign.

Do you think there would ever be an unfunded mandate from the federal government again?

Best explanation i’ve heard regarding his vote, it makes sense . While I think he was wrong on this vote , if anyone deserves a pass it would be Craig . Craig knew that this bill was DOA, and like you said , had to throw some of his donors a bone .

The rest of the Senators on this list need to be defeated in the primaries, as most of them have consistantly proven themselves to have RINO tendencies .

I like Feeney, but I don’t think he would be able to pull it off. He’s not well known statewide, and the Dims are constantly trying to tie him in with the Abramoff scandal .

We need to get together and make a Freeper approach on how we will get rid of him.

Come on down!

I am personally going after Craig. SOB is in the pocket of big ag. Idaho state has more republicans than it has voters, they ain’t gonna like his votes on this. I have already been in contact with the state Republican Party to see who we can support as a primary opponent.

My money and my time are now committed to firing Larry Craig.

I think Hagel and Graham are the top targets. I thought your remarks on Martinez were very cogent and it is worth being a little cautious on him. I have no other problems with Craig so I am some what hesitant to proceed with him at this point. some say he is a closeted gay who has “sex” with other men in train stations. I do not know if that is true ot not though there have been many rumors, so he may be a future embarrassment as well.

Come to Highway Marker 84 on 89 fifty miles south of Bryce. You will see the Historic marker for the Dixon home and studio. 100 yards south is our headquarters at the Bingham Gallery. We will be very disappointed if you don’t stop in.

ITA with your post. Better a RINO than a Dem.

I live in NJ so there’s not much I can do here. Two dem senators and this is a liberal state. I’ve been emailing my reps and the reps in surrounding areas. I hope that helped.
