Excerpt:

CHURCH DIRECTOR

Serrano is the spiritual leader and director of the nondenominational faith-based group, Hands of Hope, according to Advance archives. He was previously the pastor of Sowers First Missionary Church and was also involved with the New Dorp Baptist Church.

He reportedly has a past felony conviction and served federal time at a Connecticut prison, being released in 1988.

Serrano also apparently served a little under a year in jail, from June 1995 to May 1996, for attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance, according to the Department of Correctional Services database.

Much more at link, bump

Lived there for 11 years. The best thing about Staten Island is the zoo. :)

‘Neighbors tend to take care of each other out here.’

I live in the Appalachian Zone here in Southeast Ohio, and you express the same viewpoint I’m fortunate enough to have.

Pottasium nitrate is used for stump removal as well. Maybe he was starting his own business.

Interesting updates.

Fireworks have been outlawed in much of the west for many years, I am not able to recall having seen them for sale in Arizona, since 1970.

They have massive fireworks shows in the parks.

I saw a fireworks stand along side the road explode in El Paso, about 1952, as I recall one or more died, the one that I saw was hurt badly.

I do not like them, never understood why people went to see a fake war of exploding fireworks and would not go to war and fight for their freedom.
