After watching and listening to our Senate the last couple of weeks, I had a thought. Is there any way we can demand mandatory, random drug and alcohol testing of this gang and their allies in the House? I mean, let’s face it, these people don’t seem to live in the same reality that we do.

1. There is no proof that this was terrorism. With Blair gone, there IS no more terrorism in the UK. This was obviously just someone's car, probably belonging to a nail salesman, who kept a lot of samples in his car. He was on his way to a barbecue, of course, which explains the propane. And he needed the extra gas, too, because - hello! - he was driving a gas-guzzler (instead of a hybrid, which is really mean-spirited). So in effect, this was some right-wing, global warming-enabling carpenter on his way to char little animals for his own gratification.

IMHO the attacks in Scotland and the UK both point to just how important border security really is. They also point to how Willy nilly immigration policies can easily come back to bite many countries on the butt time after time!! When will Sweden, the UK, and the US to name just a few get it. After all Jack Bauer can do only so much and Bruce Willis is not getting any younger(anybody see Live Free or Die Hard-it was awesome!)

The ruling class will never allow term limits in Congress.

As a Brit I find it almost obscene this long drawn out election it cannot be helpful to the actual running of government with everyone watching what they say or do because of the 2008 elections.

We thought our last campaign in the UK was a long one when it was approximately 6 weeks I cannot imagine a year and a half.

BTW I did see the new Die Hard. The part where Willis was taunting Tim Olyphant about killing his girlfriend was a riot.
