Herndon officials are considering proposals that would bar Illegal aliens from using the town"s day-laborer center.

The town has received two proposals for a new day-laborer site that would check workers" immigration status, Herndon spokeswoman Anne Curtis said.

The new site would replace the Herndon Official Workers Center, which is run by the Project Hope & Harmony group and does not mandate legal status.

An internal staff committee led by the town manager must evaluate the proposals and determine whether to bring one before the full Town Council, Ms. Curtis said.

Town officials in January issued an official request for a new site operator that would check for worker eligibility, she said.

I encourage all Freepers to call any local businesses (Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc.) who let illegals congregate and tell them that you will spend your money at competing stores who aren’t encouraging this illegal behavior.

Let illegals congregate?

In some areas, "Lowes" is being required to build shelters for them on their lots.

I know that they sometimes build shelters for illegals, but you're saying that the government forces private companies to build these shelters sometimes? I'm not saying that you're wrong, but I've never heard this before.

This is not the article I was talking about but it is similar and refers to Home Depot, not Lowes.

Exactly what we should all do.

It has come down to individual towns that will have to fight, since we can no longer depend on the federal government nor the individual states to help us, thanks to cowardly, pandering politicians.

Huh?? What is there to question or talk about? What is so difficult about ILLEGAL ALIENS CAN'T LEGALLY WORK IN A COUNTRY THEY ENTERED ILLEGALLY.

YOU CAN'T USE THE DAY-LABORER CENTER OR EVEN THE BATHROOM THERE BECAUSE ILLEGALS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO LABOR HERE, COMPRENDE IDIOOOOOOOOOOT?

Of course, the officials who are discussing these possibilities are the real criminals.

I lost my voice writing this post! LOL
