Prez talked to Maliki et all this morning. I read they have a draft oil law.
got it
White house stream now on as well
Bill Bennett may connect live to that reenlistment ceremony in Iraq tomorrow. They are working with Gen. Petraes. They hoped for 150. They got 600.
First question is the door open for a pardon later?
Hi there Fox!!
Somehow when I put my feet up on the desk people seem to realize I’m not working....ergo, I just keep the head up! Have to wait till I get to retire like you to put the feet up!
Good to see ya! ;>)
Did the VP weigh in?
Tony thinks maybe but doesn’t really know.
First question on Libby. Will pardon follow? Ambiguous.
Prez thought that any jail time was excessive...so do I.
Tony thinks you need to respect the jury system. This is becoming more and more problematic in this country.
They are beginning to froth at the mouth now.
Tony pointing out that the remaining portion of Libby’s sentence still has a devastating impact on Libby.
Tony has gone totally gray...
Yup! Since tomorrow’s a holiday I’m really slammed.....usually have to process Wednesday, but need to finish today.....was here for 10 1/2 hours yesterday....trying no to think about today! But Tony ( and you) are worth taking a break for!! Hope you’re doing well....regards to DQ! ;>)
These questions re the commutation are REALLY annoying in light of the Clinton Pardon record! Wish Tony would go off on that!
If you “need to respect the jury system” doesn’t that make any pardoning privilege that any president has, ineffectual? Not sure I’m using the right word but geez, the president can pardon anyone. Clinton precedents aside.
That chemo is tough stuff.
The reporters becoming argumentative.
> Tony has gone totally gray...
His air is thinner, too.
But I guess that is to be expected.
I see his hair is thinner too. It should come back when chemo is finished.
Q: can you read the President’s mind and tell us what he thinks.
Tony says the President respects the jury system. The Ramos-Compean trial proved that a jury trial is not “just” if the prosecution withholds or distorts evidence!
