Ahmadinejad rejects film offer from Oliver Stone

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has rejected a proposal by American Oscar winning movie director Oliver Stone to make a film about him because Stone is part the "Great Satan" cultural establishment, a semiofficial news agency reported.
"I sent a negative answer by Ahmadinejad to Oliver Stone," the Fars agency quoted Mehdi Kalhor, media adviser to the president, as saying Sunday. "It is right that this person is considered part of the opposition in the US, but opposition in the US is a part of the Great Satan."
The term the "Great Satan" dates back to Iran's late supreme leader, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, who first called the US the Great Satan after 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Well, he is right that Stone is part of the Great Satan.
But I’m betting that he’s just holding out for a bigger cut of the receipts.
He ought to be careful though. If Stone thinks he’s getting too greedy, then his next movie will probably be about Ahmadinejad. Can you imagine what Stone could do to Ahmadinejad’s reputation? He might make him look like a nice guy who’s got some intellectual gravitas.
Rejected. But hey, he still can make a film on other lefty heroes...Chavez. or maybe Mugabe or perhaps Kim Jong Ill?
Sheesh, why would Oliver want to make a film about this tyrant? Has he no sense of shame? Oh, wait, he IS ashamed...ashamed of being an American. Maybe if he converted, took out Iranian citizenship, covered the girlfriend in sheets, and bombed a few school buses, then they’d let him. The thought probably excites him.
PS: Did O.Stone and M.Moore go to the same film school?
This is almost as good as the "Live Earth" concert Saturday for "A Climate in Crisis". LOL

Oliver Stone’s feelings must really be hurt. To be turned down by one of his biggest heroes must be just awful. Maybe this will destroy his creative drive and force him out of the movie making industry :)
Mahmoud will rue the day that he turned down Oliver’s offer. Now ol’ Stoner will probably make a movie about the evils of religious intolerance and theocracy. Of course, the film will have to be appropriately “crafted” so that it doesn’t appear to attack Islam (or any other known religion, save possibly fundamentalist Christianity). And the Ahmadinejad character will probably have to be some Waspy guy with a British or a Southern (USA) accent, to avoid offending non-whites (Ian McKellan or Robert Duvall would be ideal for the part). Some will complain that the message is a bit vague, but Mahmoud will know he’s been properly “dissed”.
You’d think Stone would realize that the mutual hatred of America he shares with Ahmadinejad isn’t enough to make Ahmadinejad overlook what Stone represents to Islamic radicals. When will liberals realize that they’re in the crosshairs of Islamic terrorists, perhaps even more so than the rank and file infidel.
Stone doesn’t need the iranian hitler’s permission.
Expel Stone from the US and send him to the mullahs.
