I can’t be sure this is just an Arab urban legend. After all, these people are told Jews make Matzoh out of the blood of Arab children, and many of them believe it.
That said, Al Quada is so barbaric I have no problem believing they love to think up new tortures.

Just YESTERDAY, jaz, I had a conversation that burst out of nowhere. One of those, where the antennae stick up. I rushes back to me now, looking at and reading about these kids.
A woman, in a store, just started talking about how her mother died when she was young, and then, all their pictures burned in a fire.
The thrust of her point was that she is obsessed with photography now (and these were her words)
because it captures a moment and that moment can live forever.

I get bent at all the armchair quarterbacks, even on FReep questioning details of things going on over there. Yon has been one of the few consistently on the ground with our fighting men in the tough places.
Yeah these people lie worse than BillyJeff Klintoon, but the website referenced has photos of a lot of kids beheaded and crazy stuff happens over there every day, so it is definitely plausible.

That line from The Godfather comes to mind, the one about something being "an infamia" -- Mediterranean and Middle Eastern societies have their infamias, things that even Al Q'aeda wouldn't touch. Child murder and cannibalism would seem -- from a distance -- far enough over the line, that not even our worst enemies would go there.
But we know Beslan was true. They would kill children, we know that.
The British SAS who were among the first into Afghanistan found the Afghani men were rushing home, putting on women's clothing and makeup, and coming out to offer the Brits their services. So some guys would offer their services, and another wouldn't offer a story?
