I must be out of touch.
Matt Drudge always seems to think things which involve Katie Couric are filled with drama and fascinating.
I really think she’s sort of blah.
I must do something about this. Anyone know how I can find Katie more fascinating?

I, too, have a complete lack of fascination in anything Couric. She’s kinda old, has way too much gums-to-teeth ratio and is better suited to fluffy stuff and not real news. Next story, please.

I wonder if, after the next election, we'll see headlines like "Americans Dump Landlines In Record Numbers" (just so they won't get anymore *@(&#$ political calls!)
We dumped ours two years ago. Been one of the best decisions we've ever made.

DRAMA SWIRLS AROUND COURIC... DEVELOPING... Theoretically, I suspect she is trying, in the end, to sell herself to the public, then to her managers. Is she stupid? If I were Ms. Couric I would first take up Rush Limbaugh on his offer for a live interview. Then I would change my POV and insist on reporting using a conservative slant.
I don't buy that she can't pull it off. She has been a liberal for a long time which means she has no core values to violate.
If she were to follow these two simple things, first a task and then a protocol, she would leave ABC and NBC and even FOX in her trail like they were nailed to the ground.
I suppose the difficult part would be teaching the reporters that there is a new sheriff in town.
She could drive the other networks out of buisiness so fast they would be asking what happened for years to come.

CBS News cannot be saved unless they hire about 20 conservatives.

I may have to tune into Drudge tonight. I was thinking about skipping his show because he has become so “Pro-Hillary” lately.
On Couric, I wonder if Sumner Redstone finally said to cut her loose. He is a businessman after all.
They should replace Couric with Thalia Shire (sp?). She is a woman with a great accent, good command of the news and she doesn’t appear to be a big liberal. She was anchoring one weekend and I thought, “Why doesn’t CBS use her more often.”
